They’re only half cooked from the package! If you aren’t cooking your tortillas (on the stove!) you don’t know what you’re missing. Dad always has to make extra because the cooked tortillas always seem to go missing from the stack. So good and you don’t even have to put anything in them ^^

Ya always gotta heat the tortillas up before you try to roll them. If a cold tortilla doesn't crack when you fold it, there's something unnatural about that tortilla

Gotta heat the tortillas up a little. That softens them and gets them to stretch and not break so much. That's a true test if the best tortillas for burritos. We need a re-do!

You have to warm the tortilla (watch it rise) before you roll a burrito. Especially Guerrero and Romero. It becomes very easy to roll when they are warmed up.

Almost identical to how Chipotle teaches it as well, except we go over the top, then the sides, and then roll. At least that’s the official way. But some people definitely do it the other way.

This test isn’t true to form. Tortillas contain lard and when they’re cold they will break, for a tortilla to have full form and function they need to be warmed up before use.

Links first roll was perfect! That's what your supposed to do. Obviously you are supposed to heat them up so they're more pliable, but as far as sitting at the desk I can understand why they wouldn't want to heat them up.

If you fold a tortilla in half, then fold the corners up to the center, you can achieve that tiktok thing without cutting it. I think it would be more sturdy as well, but haven't tested that theory yet

You definitely need to warm the tortillas before working with them. I make tacos and burritos like every other day, and I don't always feel like warming the tortillas. But... if I don't, and they break, it is not the fault of the tortilla.
