@JimboParadox ya cow has same right to live as you and it said cow should protected by giving your life but not taking life whatever happening is political not at all religious in hindhuism every living thing is god so if you are killing anything you are hurting it chances of reaching god and you will get bad karma even if it is for greater good for example look at KRISHNA he never touches a weapon in war but he participates in it so he will be killed in a tragedic way where he can not protect his children and people(even god can not lose karma) if you look rama he kills entire army of ravan for greater good but at the end the wife for whom he fought a war to save is gone and leads a very sad life (you are going to get karma even if it is for greater good) so look at what hindhuism teaches and every other abrahmic faiths kill for god no problem he loves you

@DetoxTV You get Consent from plants. That's why you pick the ripe fruits not the one still under development. Take an example of a mango tree, when it is ripe and reaches its full potential it drop on the ground. You don't get Consent from animals. Taking a life of living is considered as murder in almost every holy textbooks in every religion. Now you can either look at it from both the angles. Science don't tell you they have sense and a membrane, they give you a definite answer i.e they are living beings and if you have completed school then you would have learned about "living being consists of Humans, animals and plants."
