Hi, what a brilliant video. I’ve been really struggling with Goodnotes and was about to give up. I’ve watched so many YT videos and none has been so straightforward and helpful as yours. Most just seem to want to demonstrate how clever they are and how quickly they can flip their pencil around the page, leaving the viewer/learner none the wiser, just more baffled. Great video, thank you so much!✌I learned a lot what can be done with it! I'm just shocked how far tech has come, It's crazy! 🤯 I would like to tell two function tips which was key features for us to choose Goodnotes 6 over others, which you didn't mention at least on this video. First is screen share collaboration, which is unique at the moment for Goodnotes. When you share you document with co-worker, you both can see document on live and work it together. It's just superb feature to plan things with a team! And second is that when you record and make notes on same time, you can click&hold note and listen record on spot when you made selected note. It's very useful when you go through like 1 hour meeting notes. And also if you listen recording and add notes they will be synced and time stamped with recording also!

Fab video - really helped, although I do have a question / query. I'm using the iPad app, I've handwritten some notes (and converted to text) but the text formatting is all over the place (eg new lines where I don't want them to be), is there a quick way to remove formatting from a text box? (other than going in and manually editing, removing the extra line spacing etc). Thanks

Thank you so much for this video! I started a new job that combines work and study, so I use my notability, since I paid for that on 2021/2022 when you could purchase once for life. And when I note all the important things I am learning for my job (commands and stuff like that). Notability out of nowhere deleted ALL my notes. And since I was thinking a lot about getting another app (because I also don’t have the new features, cause it is for pro members only and I have the once pay version). After this happened I got so mad that I decided to change to good notes. And you definitely made the perfect introduction video for that. I am now more convinced to buy it, I will also look your other videos 😭 I wanna now how to use all and don’t get frustrated xd

It’s probably not actually a one time purchase, as last time when switching from good notes 5 to 6 they made people who bought a one time purchase of good notes 5 buy a subscription of good notes 6

@@chrismundanchery4357id also add to that where physical notebooks in Canada cost 30-50 depending on note book/ planner/ journal. I bought a productivity planner that cost me about 45 bucks and its a 3 month planner 🫠 at least here you buy a subscription for 10 for the year and a template, that’s about half the price and most of these templates have all of them combined so you get a wayyy better deal then buying physical books.

I was told it adds more friction in between your pencil-to-screen contact but wasn’t sure if it was worth buying or not. If not Paperlike, what screen protector do you have? I’m afraid if I put any sort of screen protector on my iPad - it would create a weird feeling while taking notes & drawing…but then again, I want to have a screen protector to ensure my iPad is safe when dropped. Decisions, decisions. 😩

At the top of your home you will see a tab with : Date Name Type. Just select the Name option and it should sort it alphabetically 😄

You can buy Goodnotes 6 but you can only use it with Apple. To get access to goodnotes on windows as well you have to rent. If Goodnotes 7 is sub only I am gone as I do not rent.
