Goodnough Dike

The Goodnough Dike, or dam. is one of two dams on the Quabbin Reservoir. Started being built in 1933, it was completed in 1938.It serves a the major drinking water supply for the Boston area.
This reservoir is just beautiful, I spend a lot of time here, and in the surrounding area. Peace.

Beautiful spot Craig. Reminds me of the Ashokan reservoir I lived next to in Hurley NY that was a water source for NYC. Beautiful, but highly regulated. Love your videos!

Was this shot with your DJI osmo Action 4? Having spent a lot of time in Western Mass I have become familiar with some of these reservoirs. They are nice spots. Limited with what you can do at the reservoirs but mostly beautiful wild scenery.

Yes it was the DJI , I’m still trying to figure it out ! Yes the Quabbin is beautiful, but limited like you say. But, for a reason . Peace ✌️
