The Porsche 996 is the internal designation for the 911 model manufactured from 1997 to 2006. The 996 had little in common with its predecessor, with the first all new chassis platform since the original 911 and a new water-cooled engine. Technically, it was a major change, a complete breakthrough from the original car other than the overall layout.

Man thats amazing making such cheap 1:18 models look like the more pricy Autoart ones. Been trying to do that aswell but the main problem is here i could get the decals sheets for after repainting the cars.

There is more atention to details in this model car than there is in my real car. I would say it's one of the best restoration I've ever seen but I would lie because it's the best I've ever seen! Great job!

So first apologies, but I suspect that you did some of these wrecks yourself, at least I don't think there are so many people with their models or theirs Handle toys so destructively. (But!) That being said, wow, I've rarely seen such dedication to details, I mean you even peeled elements like the original, then the details on the headlights, just wow. No matter where you get these wrecks from, but these top-class results, I always enjoy watching. Carry on, it's really fun to watch and excited to see what happens afterwards. *Thumbs up*

You never met my brother. When he was young, he broke some of my 1/64 miniatures to try to piss me off, on purpose. And I've seen some bargain bins in flea markets with lots of broken miniatures and other toys. So yeah, he may break himself, but there's also the possibility that he found broken and torn as well.

Oh yes, that paint rash sometimes Is not that, paint, it is metal. Excelent restoration, flock, and a well done paint job (there are some guys who leave paint with orange skin horrible finish). I just repaint hood and front fenders of a Cord 1937 from Signature models. Hood was so damaged by those bubles on the metal. Just did the same as you, sand away all bubles and repaint in the same original metallic gray color. I'm waiting for paint to cure, then sand it buff it and wax it. I leave interior and other body parts the same, they weren't damaged by paint/metal rash.
