You really found some treasures at the bins. Your prices are so reasonable in your booth and everything is so well displayed. That cream wire thing that you were a little confused as to what it is, I think, is actually a candle holder. You were holding it upside down. The bowl part is the base and the metal plate is for a candle, so it just needs a new colour and a candle on top👍

Hi hurricane globes back in the 1980’s were used on coffee tables as centerpieces-turned on their side on a wooden base with wooden braces at each narrow section of the glass…inside the globe a flower arrangement. You’re so inventive and since I’m sure I’m much older than you I thought you might want to recreate that old throwback for your booth. Simple baby’s-breath might look pretty tucked inside (wood, glass and baby’s-breath, I can see it , I hope you can too, no matter how weak my description might be (lol) I love your work thanks for all the good ideas!! Have fun!!

You have a great eye for what sells and your tips on staging are absolutely correct. One thing you might try to sell glass is to actually put it in a black cabinet like the one that you have more moody things in. It really makes them pop. And the other thing is that table and black lamp that you showed are both beautiful, but I would separate them and put a brighter lamp on it. That is a really great way to use your furniture to stage your items to help them. Pop is to use the opposite colors if that makes sense. Otherwise, it looks really great!

Yes! I get tons of floral and baskets at Goodwill bins. So much cheaper. Also you can't tell if something is crystal if it pings. Thats an old wives tale. It has to have a certain percentage of lead in it to be crystal. Lots of thin regular old glass will ping.

I saw another person with a book of old lithographs, you can tell because they have tissue paper in the books. You can use them in the frames and put the year and the artists name on the back. Your “plastic” shelf may very likely be a sirocco piece from the 1960’s in the Hollywood Regency style, making it somewhere near 70 years old! I would NOT paint that! If it is sirocco, it’s worth a lot more than $9.95, as they are increasingly hard to find in good condition. I, personally, never liked them but they were unbelievably popular in the ‘60’s & 70’s & have a following now. I have heard you say this in previous videos but it’s worth noting here-you are not selling things just for YOUR PERSONAL style preference but to appeal to a wide customer base of style preferences. You can easily blend that gold-ish regency piece in with your French style in your booth. Also, clothing at the bins has value as fabric & now, very expensive notions, such as button & other fastener sets. Think of linens (tablecloths, bedspreads, curtains, etc) in terms of FABRICS, so maybe don’t disregard altogether…maybe think of it in a different way. Hire a high school kid to do deconstruction for you by the piece if you don’t have time…still way cheaper than purchasing fabric & notions-here comes that terrible word-new! BTW, I LOVE the windows in your garage door!!!
