No idea where the mixer was made. GE was very big in this area including a light military but, like a lot of American industry they moved operational out of the country and got government tax breaks to do so. Your knowledge of history is as amazing as the Antique and vintage finds themselves. Are you still writing/documenting, someone should review your videos and extract your historical incites.

IDK if its anywhere close to where you are, but in Vincennes IN there is the most amazing thrift store - looks like an antique store, but with thrift pricing. It's called Fort Sackville Project, 711 Main St, Vincennes, IN 47591. They sold me a gorgeous Victorian brass candelabra with crystal drops for $10!! Also picked up an Italian capodimonte piece with absolutely no damage, chips or cracks. And a cool 1930's ladies hat. I was on a road trip from California so it was an exciting find.

Hi George & Zeno. I did the same as you did & tried finding Looky Looky near the Pizza place on Green River & GPS'd my way to the new one. I didn't see much when i went about 6 mos ago, tho. They didn't have a restroom, either & neither did the business next door, so didn't stay long, needless to say. I went thrifting at a vendor's mall in Owensboro, Ky the other day & i got a few things that reminded me of you, George. One was a trinket plate with an owl & Florida on it made by Treasure Craft which i only paid $2 for. Another thing was a small oval picture with shells & St Petersburg, Fl on one shell with wicker encircling it. Looks old & I actually think someone used it for a coaster because it had a drink ring on it that can be easily washed off. The last thing was a lucite trivet with abalone pieces in it. Whenever i see lucite with shells it brings to mind the reseller challenge you had with Danni, the Niche Lady & you brought the lucite toilet seat & won, if i'm not mistaken. I'm finding myself having to go to Evansville tomorrow, so may visit the St Vinney, thanks to your advice.

The Carnival Glass vase, at 4:23, is Dugan's "Stork and Rushes". Loved the Empire vase, at 5:39. I'm not into vases too much, but there are a few that catch my eye. The china ones more so than the glass ones, with a few exceptions. I have to say...I'm with Xeno on the piece at 7:05 😝😅 Just couldn't see that next to a piece of R S Prussia😂 I have a couple of the globe banks. One of them has many different airlines round the base. I've had it since I was a child. The piece of glass, at 19:34, looked like a piece of Northwood. That shade of green and the gold trim really looked like his glass. The piece at 20:22 screams Northwood. I would go absolutely nuts with all those wood fishing lures! I don't care if they're grimy or not; I like those. They would look good scattered about among the collection of vintage fish planters I have. I could spend quite a bit of time in that vendor mall. There were a lot of items that I would just want to look at but not necessarily buy...and some I would've bought, especially some of those fishing lures. Lots of interesting items there. Thanks for the take-along!!!

@@TheAntiqueNomad Well thank you for informing me. And telling me that it was Fenton because I would never of known it was Fenton either. I have several Fenton pieces & And I have all kinds of swung bases of all makers and this one had me stumped because I didn’t recognize the flower shape on the pedestal base. I have had some Fenton people didn’t think was Fenton because it was the newer pieces I think it’s called Sandust it does not look like any of Fenton‘s pieces so it throws people off. But I found it in their catalog is how I identified it but it’s been a little while since I had it I have one more piece left I sold the other three pieces. So I may not have that name correct but it’s a beautiful Amber at the top And graduates down to an off-white with a plied darker Amber on the sides.
