I am so glad I found this video. I just passed by this antique store on I-75 going to and from NC. I wasn't sure it was even open! I definitely have to stop in when I return to NC in September. I love your videos and learn so much!

Chat gdp upload a photo and ask it what it is etc. the info is incredible and very accurate. Of course it doesn’t have 100% info and of course get an expert if in doubt!!

I just recently learned that vintage perfume and cologne can sell for hundreds - so don’t throw it away before you check its value! It might become someone’s prized possession! I always assumed perfume went bad, but apparently not with some of the high quality vintage ones.

I didn’t want any of my mom’s (sets of) porcelain because I knew I was never going to entertain on the level that she did. Dinner parties and luncheons were a way of life for her - and all her friends. The most entertaining I’ve done is hosting my daughter’s parties at park shelter houses, or participating in potlucks. Our everyday and only dishes are modern Fiesta - and it survives the shelter house parties. My husband loves it. I do pick up some nice vintage serving platters and casseroles - to show off at those potlucks.

I knew you had to be Scandinavian! My mother was full Norwegian and you look almost exactly like my uncle, her brother, and my late brother who took after the Halverson side of the family. I really liked your video and thank you so much for the great information George.

"Vanna" was amazing!! Too funny! I had to do a double take because he looks just like a parent that I see when I go get my grand son from school!! I guess we all have a double somewhere! Thanks for sharing all this information! I love it!

Xeno your hands look so soft and your nails are so clean and manicured. I often watch "picking and junkin" videos and it is hard to dig through barns and keep clean hands. It is amazing how much beter a piece looks when held by beautiful clean hands. I can say the same about Georges hands as well.

King Richard has beautiful colouration, and such a sweet boyish face…and, of course, the perfect name. I have high hopes for his survival, having seen Mandi, with her patience and loving care bring one back from the brink last year, and I was rooting for him very much to maker it back to flying. King Richard is eating his slurpy fruit slowly, and doggedly, so he can get his strength back…I will enjoy watching his journey in the care of Mandi. Thank you both for sharing this Mandi and Meg.🖤🇨🇦

As I have said many times, these are my favorites because there is so much information you give the audience in a short time. It's also cool when someone finds out their item(s) being appraised, is quite higher than expected. 😂 Thank you, George!🩷

I think the online buyer knows what they are looking for and what the item is worth. The in person sales draw in all kinds of people. Not just those with antique and vintage knowledge. Therefore, they may not understand the pricing. Xeno cracks me up.

So many cool items to see I wish I lived close by so I could go see for myself. It was good to see Xeno and he did a great job as Vana to showcase everything you purchased. I'm always on the lookout for things that glow and love the owl. I can't wait to watch your next video. Say hi to Xeno and thanks George for all your excellent knowledge and the education you give us. 😊

Just an incredible tour of the Antiques you can find here in Mexico City. Living here full time, when you step into the more street market style of Antique selling, you see the craziest variety of items. Sometimes items you would never expect to find with considerable value, next to someone selling hair ties. Oh the joy of living in Mexico. Great video. I’m happy to have found your channel. Did you have a chance to go to La Lagunilla? Gosh knows someone must have at least mentioned it. Salud desde Ciudad México.

I am drawn to the little cabinets with lots of little drawers. I would love to find a small affordable library card catalog. My very first job was processing and cataloging reference books for libraries in a SLC school district. It would be handy for storage of craft supplies and jewelry.
