I was so happy to learn about mineral oil from your channel as I had recently rescued a couple of monkey pod servers. The larger piece has 3 compartments, the smaller is a single, leaf shaped dish that looks beautiful next to the larger piece 9n my coffee table. My husband bought the Howard's food grade brand mineral oil and conditioner at Home Depot for $10.00 per 12oz bottle. It worked beautifully. A few days later I found a 16oz bottle of plain mineral oil in the health and beauty aisle at Walmart for under $3.00!! It 8s the Equate brand; it's very thick. It does not say 'food grade' but as it's marketed as a mild laxative it must be safe. I've used it in a very old wood Singer sewing machine cabinet and on a beautiful but very dried out wooden plant stand. They both look great! Next I'm going to tackle my 100+ year old Hoosier cabinet that I purchased 45 years ago. And of course, the cutting boards were done first! I'm so happy to know about this non toxic way to preserve wood as I inherited a couple of hand-made bowls from my husband's aunt. Thank you so much. Happy Thrifting

Tiffany I use a blow dryer on watermarks. Works just as well as a iron and press cloth but allows you to see exactly what you’re doing. No worries of further damage.
