Re: Juliette and her "allergic" reaction to blueberries - it's probable that it was a reaction to the pesticides on them. Non-organic blueberries carry residues from 42 pesticides, on average. According to the USDA, more than 50 pesticides are commonly used on domestic blueberries. I have allergic reactions to non-organic romaine lettuce, but never to organically grown produce. There's some sort of pesticide used on romaine that gives me hives.

Also allergies develop after we have already been exposed to the food item. We can eat shellfish, eggs, blueberries etc.. the first few times no prob. Then, for whatever reason, our immune system develops resistance (antibodies) and an allergy or allergic reaction can develop. Can get worse and become serious depending on the allergic response

The thrift stores here in central PA are pretty hit and miss - I love thrifting in Florida when we vacation down there. The Goodwills were a bit disappointing when we were down there in December, but I loved the Humane Society stores.

At my local goodwills, when the carts come out it’s pretty much the only time you find anything good as far as hard goods go. People are like vultures though when they roll the carts out..some even just stand in area where the carts go and just wait.

Yes. There are quite a few resellers that spend all day waiting for the carts. They usually have two or three carts set aside throughout the day. I don’t see how that can be any fun. I love the thrill of finding it on the shelf.

Those Blue coffee cups are a liberty blue staffordshire set that was sold through safeway with book stamps. You would get so many stamps based on the dollar amount you spent on groceries. Those items make money on resell. People are still looking to complete their sets... Love watching you and your friends shop. Amazing finds thank you

Those Liberty Blue cups are Stafforshire made in England for the American market. They were issued during the USA bicentennial. I have a full serving for 8 bought one piece at a time. You and Danny found some great things

Brighton glasses are sturdy enough to have prescription lenses put in. The frames are what you pay for. Those sunglasses were worth around $95-$120

For Dagny the gold dip rose is from Steven Singer based out of Indianapolis Indiana. It is real gold! The price range is $50 to $65 depending on which rose you get. They come out every year for Valentines Day and come I'm several colors. This year was emerald green. Really enjoy your videos. ❤🌹
