Great stuff Jocelyn!!! I love the wicker shelf unit and trunk for the new baby girl’s room. You can buy slow close hinges to replace the ones on the trunk so you could use it for a toy box and no little fingers will get pinched!!

I love the pink, vintage wicker set, for the nursery! ♥️ That trunk can easily become a safe toy box by installing a set of “SafeStay Lid Stay 105 Degree Open with Soft Close, Easy to Install, Lid Support for Toy Box and Chest” on Amazon, for $16.95. I used something similar back when my son was little, when I converted an old wooden chest into a toy box, for him. ☺️

Jocelyn, January 2017, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a recall for salt lamps that presented a risk of fire because their dimmer switches were defective and prone to overheating. Around 80,000 lamps sold under the brand name Lumiere were included in that recall. Please make sure it is safe for your home my sister tossed hers. Oh pretty things for the babies room. Great nativity set! Love the lion picture and the shelves & trunk. You could make the lid a permanently opened trunk or take the lid off for a toy box while she’s little. To make the toy box kid friendly you can buy metal safety brackets just for that purpose. They are installed to keep the lid from closing on little fingers I bought two vintage toy boxes for my 3 kids 20 years ago and with the safety brackets I can save them for future grandchildren Lobe your videos!

Awesome score for your baby! BTW, I've been able to easily remove utensil marks from pottery, stoneware, etc (like the Fiesta) with barkeepers friend. Use a magic eraser with it and it will look almost new. (just did this with some longaberger pottery bowls I picked up at a goodwill)

In Bible school one summer we made the copper Jesus like that and then we also made praying hands. You can take the lid and attach it to the wall of the toy box so it wouldn't fall down. Or you can just use it for storage extra blankets in that kind of stuff. And when she gets older you can paint it a different color and I have it in her big girl room.

My daughter and SIL used it for my grandson to sit in with h2o in the tub while he had his bath. LOL, it was perfect! no falling over into that big tub. They used it for quite some time. Thanks for taking me shopping with you, Jocelyn. That vintage trunk looked plenty sturdy and could be placed in the baby's room but hold extra bedding or clothes the baby has not grown into yet, even new outfits for you as you decrease in size. Trunks have so many uses.

Use the trunk for storage in the babies room. Doesn't need to be toys clothes she doesn't fit yet or spare blankets etc. You'll find a use. I think those two items the shelf and the trunk are beautiful. You now need a wicker seat the go with them.

The Boehm plate is likely from the 1970s. It is pronounced "Beem". My aunt's estate was loaded with them. But sadly, they aren't popular any longer.

The trunk is a great buy. If you are worried about little fingers. Put a wedge of foam at the back of the top where the top and the bottom meet. It will stop the lid from closing all the way and pinching fingers but not looking ugly like keeping it open. If you want to keep it open. Super glue in the hinges will stop it from closing. Or any kind of glue really. Congrats on the baby girl.
