That first Goodwill you didn't even get past the first three feet without finding 10 vintage things, the goodwills here in Louisville are crappy even their junk is junk. That's the kind of thrifting I remember doing years ago, seems like you guys had a really good time together that's so much fun 🙂

I’ve spent many winter nights at the second goodwill perusing. I found a great vacuum there, and a great Peruvian dress. Both helped pay the rent. The first goodwill I went to once and found nothing - but chochkies sp are not my forte. I’m still searching for my talent. Watching you guys with all your knowledge is inspiring. Now, wait, so platzgraff is a thing now????? I passed by mountains of it in Colorado Springs!

Fun shopping trip. The Goodwill stores around me look like these. Full of vintage at good prices. We have the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and the Epilepsy Foundation that take in tons of donations and are probably selling it to Goodwill. The Epilepsy Foundation will come right to the curb for pickup. Our other local charity thrift stores also look like this. Our elderly population is downsizing and/or the family just can't absorb all the stuff. There is always more stuff!

2nd comment - those pottery mugs you showed in the second Goodwill are by a Mt. Hood, OR artist, David Enna. I inherited my mom's entire collection of his pottery last year when she passed. Although the blue & brown aren't really my colors, I've enjoyed decorating my China hutch with all of them. I'm always on the lookout for his pieces:)

I shop at the Goodwill stores in West Lafayette, Lafayette, Frankfort, and Kokomo Indiana they are actually pretty decent. I have found great stuff and the prices are decent.
