Goodwill Nerf Hunt - Christmas 2016

Time for my month run of the many Goodwills in my area. It was fun, I found a few good things. I really look forward to the Post Christmas January run. Happy Holidays to you all no matter which day is Holy for you. I will be back in a week but I will make a few posts while I am gone.

The Rhino Fire's trigger is actually dual stage. Press it down a little and it will rev, press it all the way and it will start firing.

I am doing a rapidstrike with a roughcut as a kind of "master key" and had some problemer with the slam fire only mod. would be nice to see how a pro moder do it :-)

You should use the double dealer for k-26, spare parts and wait for it... Make a stock attachment with the double magazine holding stock. Maybe you could take the attachment point from the crappy recon stock

Have you ever considered porting a plunger tube? We use them in airsoft. The idea is you want the volume of your cylinder to about double the volume of your barrel. As you get larger and larger cylinder to barrel ratio, you get diminishing returns in FPS. The idea here is to give the beginning of the plunger time to accelerate by deliberately putting holes or slots in the back of the plunger tube, before it actually seals and diverts the air into the barrel. This can make a HUGE FPS difference in airsoft and I'm wondering if it might work in nerf. Generally it's used when cylinder volume more then triples the barrel volume, so you would need a very large plunger for it to be worth it.

The last pair of 4vics I used also had unusually heavy primes. But the range was way better than normal, and I know for a fact they weren't modded, so it might be a manufacturing inconsistency.

Lovin' the beard, and the best thing for a double dealer is make it fir out of one barrel and you can fit MASSIVE springs in it and get great performance with a raider esc blaster. Super cool to put a stock attachment point on it. I did this to main and love the hell out of the thing. ~ Thanks

Hey Captain Xavier, that gun you show at 4:26 or so that's green and has the built in dart storage, I found one of those at a goodwill when they were actually sold there, they're not bad for modding potential. If you shove a beefy spring onto it, that thing will shoot lasers as I've done, I shoved a Tek-6 Spring into one and it outshot my completely modded stryfe.

The dude-ly facewarmer is filling in well. Mine is less so but still functional, which is the point over here in the woods of Maine. Ever seen "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly?" When you dumped the 4vic and sweet revenge from goodwill #10, the first thing that popped in my name was "The Ugly" ordering a salesman to show him the guns. The guns he wants? "Revolvers... revolvers... revolvers!" Ah, the random nature of my brain. That crosscut can be nasty. Rob from SBNC (may he rest in nerf-vana) did a lovely version of it, removing the saw blade and added dart storage CPVC instead. Can't wait to see what evil-ness you dream up. Sanders True, with how little people there are, I honestly think our state has some of the best goodwill for nerf guns (as far as all the ones I've gone to) I've been to many all the way from around Portland to Ellsworth and Bangor, just the other day I found 2 stampedes a longshot, and that one rebelle bow that people turn into a pump action revolver, all at the same goodwill. Then at another one I found a rapid fire 20, and I've even found some vintage maxx force blasters.

I have an interesting idea for that Thunderbow. Maybe you could make a rocket pod-like shoulder blaster thingy, powered by air (if possible). Or instead, if you have two Dual Strikes, you could use those individually, one on each shoulder, yet again powered by air. As for the Rhino-Fire, I personally see it being mounted on your back, with your wanted mortar on top of it, and maybe a possible Ire linkage cable to fire it from the secondary trigger? I do not know what you are going to do, but these are just some ideas I came up with.

man i haven't seen a toy story blaster in years! i don't think they are particularly good but there where 3 i believe a buzz light year one (i have) a woody one (you have) and a zerg one that fires balls (i believe these are vary rare) they came out with toy story 2 and i believe only sold in Disney shops and thats all i know about them.
