i live in a different state so i most likely work in a different goodwill branch but! my store has also been raising prices because of how much the store makes...it sucks, we also are starting to sell bags n shoes and such for 20+ dollars...(not even super nice name brand ones!)

I just adore your content. I use to Manage a thrift store here in Spartanburg SC. You should look it up, the store is called Brown Roof Thrift. You would love to come & do your show & tells bc we get a lot of nice things & tons of unusual items. If your ever in the area, stop by there lol. O yeah, 15-30 bucks for shoes at The Goodwill(Ummmmmmmmmmmm), nice try lol. Who do they think they are. Even if the shoes are brand new when they come to the thrift store they are 5-6 bucks. Period.

I work at a homeless shelter and st Vincent is an awesome partner with us. The ones by me even have programs that can put families and individuals up in a hotel for the night when their only option is living on the street

I would love you to see your purchases. Great walk through. I agree what you said about the over pricing there. I stoped going to goodwill because the prices are way to high. When I asked why they were so high, I was told they are 20% less then the regular stores. I said no your not somethings your higher then some of the regular stores. I live in Michigan and I went to get a friend a coat. They wanted 45.00 for a used coat that I just seen for 30.00 at Walmart. I also stoped donating to them as will. I think it is sad to over change on used things. To me that is just greedy.

I used to be very self conscious in almost every social situation, and I still am in some, but making these videos has done wonders for me in that respect. I no longer give a crap. It really helps once you realize that no one in the stores cares what you're doing or that you're even there. They're paying no attention to you whatsoever. It's liberating. Truly.
