I appreciate how polite and kind you are when you shop. I’m just a few minutes away from Lancaster goodwill and used to shop there all the time. Lately it’s disorganized and the shelves are full of broken items. That, along with the camp of resellers that wait in the back and flock the new carts that come out, made me find some new places to shop.
@CrazyLampLady2 жыл бұрын
Yes! I can’t stand the campers. It’s why I don’t shop there as often as I used to.

This is why I stopped collecting stuff , about 15 years ago I was 34 after my second child was born I just don't have time to dust knick knacks, if It doesn't have a purpose, I don't buy, it. I love candles but I burn them and enjoy them. I have a bunch of china, I don't use that my mother in law bought me 22 year's ago so maybe this is the year to use it and enjoy it.

This old lady has learned so much from you. My family recently celebrated our family Christmas late. Because of all I've learned from you and others I was able to start buying beautiful antiques and vintage items for family members start last January 2021. I got my daughter an art deco perfume bottle which she absolutely loved. My youngest son got an antique, gold filled, 17 jeweled pocket watch from the 1890, My oldest son got a first addition of, "A Christmas Carole", and my ex-husband and his girlfriend I gave them a teal and black dragon ware tea pot with matching tea cups ( with the lithopayne on the bottom) I look forward everyday towards your videos. And I am so excited for the upcoming birth of another baby girl in June. Thanks for teaching me so many cool and exciting things. And you got me hooked on art glass too.

02:00 Alas, modern-ish reprint of a very common 1945 title. Useful if you're learning bridge, but not much resale value. 12:10 But I am! That's Сапфир (Sapphire), a Ukrainian souvenir manufacturer in Kyiv. The bottom says Вироблено в Украини, "Made in Ukraine." It might or might not be vintage; they've been around since 1992. (On reflection, probably not vintage but still good.) 14:54 That _is_ a nice copy! (Although I feel it should be more a $150 title than $220, personally.) Author John Urban spent time in captivity in the notorious Andersonville prison camp, as well as a couple not quite so deadly. I'm impressed with how the front cover is so bright, colour and gilding both. The spine is darkened, but spines are ALWAYS either darkened or faded because people don't keep the library curtains drawn against the sun. Even so, the spine gilding is very good considering. 16:21 Bound annuals of periodicals like Harper's were all the go in the middle of the 1800s. Taz had an annual of Godey's from about 1860 that my brother gave her; being uninterested in historical costuming she gave it in turn to Lise, who is interested in it.

I haven’t even bought one for myself! Can’t afford! Ha! I’m gonna sell and buy myself a Pink one! They DO have an annual seconds sale, but I don’t do crowds! THEN! I recently got 3/$60 on OU. They WERE $20, but she had so much interest she raised the price. 😩 Still @ $20 ea-I’m sure I’ll make a profit! Yay! Love your videos! I’m a single mama and cannot find a job right now so you have inspired me to get back on eBay seriously! I’m getting all set up! Excited!
