The box with the duck on top was originally for holding 2 decks of cards. The backs of the cards would have a duck related picture different on each deck of cards. You are right. Could use for whatever you want.

It’s the two prettiest blondes in thrifting!! Great way to start a Sunday morning. Third time’s a charm on the “lucky” cart! 😂😂😂 Not a lot of things on the shelves, but some nice ones. Not for resale, so much, but I saw a few things I’d have considered for just personal use. I was really attracted to that set of 8 clear glass bowls with the paneled or wide ribbed sides. (And I think I saw at least one more elsewhere in the store) They looked like great salad bowls that could double for ice cream, cereal, etc like your cute creamy white with blue stripe bowls. They looked sturdy enough for everyday and the dishwasher, but could also be dressy enough for dinner with company. And they’d go with absolutely anything. I meant to keep watch for a matching salad bowl, but completely forgot! LOL I’m sure if there’d have been one, you’d have mentioned it. I laughed at the chip n dip hat. My daughter and I had a running gag that started when she was about 8. I found a terra cotta colored plastic one for fifty cents on a clearance table in the corner drugstore and grabbed it for taking places where I would want to take something cute but unbreakable, like tailgating or a kids party. Salsa or guacamole or queso in the top and tortilla chips around the bottom, of course. She thought I was kidding when I put it in the cart and said, “You’re not really bringing home the Chip N Dip Sombrero, are you?” And the Chip N Dip Sombrero became one of those things over the years. It was amazing how suddenly they were EVERYWHERE when I swore I’d never seen one before - including a real pottery one which it was obviously copied from. And we were just talking about that silly thing two days ago. I was selling that home from 750 miles away and my daughter had taken what she wanted from the house and the rest of the contents (what felt like my life! 😢) stayed with the house, probably to end up at GW or the landfill. Anyway, I was teasing her and asked, sounding very serious, if she’d grabbed the Chip N Dip Sombrero, knowing she’d never warmed up to it and certain I knew the answer. To my surprise, her response was that of course she grabbed it - she wasn’t leaving it behind! It warmed my heart. Guess what I screen shotted and sent her a pic of this morning! So thanks for looking at it up close! The Market space looked gorgeous. I think it works so well with the mix of yours and Danny’s things. I’m glad you had your mom and dad there to help you. I know Danni had some other things going on. How lucky you are to have such loving parents always willing to support you. It’s easy to see where you got your caring spirit from. Your boys are definitely the two handsomest boys on the Internet! But the excitement wire poor Bandit out! Sorry to be so long-winded always! Have a wonderful week!
