Goodwill is lowkey evil since way back when they didn't pay their handicapped employees a living wage (like a dollar or less an hour) and said "We're doing them a favor by paying them 50c an hour cause no one else will hire them so they should take what they can get" literally trash.

tis video is the bins not the goodwill store. the bins are where goodwill merch goes when it doesn't sell in a goodwills store.

Miriam, I appreciate your concern but your take is completely false and untrue. if you try to research your point, there is no proof to back your reasoning up. Thrift store prices are rising because of many reasons, not due to resellers. The main reason thrift store prices are rising is because of inflation, rising demands of the needs in the area, rising operating costs, and many more reasons. there was a interview that recently came out with a Goodwill vice president and he said that he raise his prices on purpose because he wants to get as much money out of things as he can. I will link the interview, but please do some research of your own before you start to comment nonsense like this on my page. bidstitch.com/blog/is-goodwill-killing-vintage-exclusive-interview-with-goodwill-vp-kevin-bender/

It isn't that at all. The trucks used to transport these items use diesel fuel. Have you seen the cost of that lately? It's insane. Some school districts in my state are not going to have as many routes as they did in the past for this reason. So don't blame the resellers. Goodwill dosen't know or care what people do with their items once they leave the store. (Jan Griffiths).
