Funny, I don't think I HEARD of any electric cars receiving a standing ovation. Race organizers QUIETLY send them up the hill @ Good wood early in the races or near the end. Kinda hard to have a 1600hp V12 followed by a silent 1500hp electric battery pack. No emotion involved.
