Always one of the most exciting races around, the St Mary's Trophy presented by #Motul is an amazing fight for some of the greatest touring cars in history. This year, we moved back to the cars of the 1960s, so Minis, Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAs, Ford Galaxies and Plymouth Barracudas went head-to-head for glory. Drivers involved included Romain Dumas, Jake Hill, Andrew Jordan, Alex Brundle, Jean-Eric Vergne, Rob Huff, Christian Horner, Jimmie Johnson, Matt Neal and many more.

So glad the British still run these races and allow the public watch these valuable cars run like they are supposed to. In America the rich hoard their cars and most events are private or only rich can afford to attend. The small vs large races are my favorites. Reminds me of my childhood my town ran vintages car races

Only in GB..it is the paradise if you like racing vintage cars. You need tons of money also. I like Goodwood and I like to see here drivers from Le Mans, ex F1 driver like Jenson Button..it is really a lot of good races not like F1 anymore.

Modern cars have too much aero. 😞 Back in the day they used every trick as well, but honestly, dirty air is significantly reducing other cars ability to get close to the car in front of them.

@@tobyholt4682 Possibly, but the car is complete, I have worked with very rusty cars before, did rotisserie body restorations of three XK-Es, a couple of 750 series Alfas, and an Austin Healey 100M. I'm in New England, finding no rust cars of any stripe just isn't in the cards. The car I'm trying to buy is half an hour away but the owner is a hoarder who has 100 cars rusting away and sinking into the ground. Lots of 2002s, two 912s, it's a real shame seeing them that way.

FIA Homologation number 1331 lists the 273 CID maximum bore as 1cm over stock, resulting in 4.5789 litres (279.421 CID). Easier to say "4.6" or "280" AND it *sounds* bigger! ;-)

@@Ziggy_Moonglow Then it's not a 273. It's a 360 with the 273 crank in it. Stock bore is 92mm, add a centimeter and it's 102mm. 273 stroke is 84mm. 5.6 liters. Now, if someones made a huge error somewhere, and it's a 1mm overbore on the 273 block, that'll be 4565cc's ( +/- rounding)
