If you're planning on building on your property you're going to need the front end loader with the tines absolutely. "Finishing work is the work" in whatever you build plus Barn Storage ("attic") is the most valuable in any Northern built structure for obvious reasons. Can't say enough good things about a drive through door for a massive basement as well so if you're gonna dig "dig deep and proper" (siting and drainage) as that becomes the work shop too. Up always beats out as any farmer will tell you in construction.

I have the same m4 d-071. I’ve made several changes for my needs. Best addition was the creeper gear range. Inexpensive and easy installation by my dealer. 6 lower gears that really help for precise work like implement hookup, grinders, hydraulics saws and delicate operations. Tool box is a joke. I added a John Deere removable box on each side of the loader after I removed the caution lights. Tractor turns tighter than my John Deere 5000 series tractors and has good ground clearance. But the undercarriage hydraulics and linkages are exposed and protected by very thin sheet metal thus easily damaged. I’ve also added an electronic clutch button mounted on the floor below the mechanical clutch pedal. I originally needed it to disengage the clutch while operating the joystick, now I use it exclusively. I work all day and never use the mechanical clutch pedal. Easy on an old man’s knees.

Wouldn't mind the heat either (my B7800 has a homemade cab) Of course I didn't fork over 50g either. I'm sure you'll put her to good use. Looks good with green attachments, and they seem to work just fine with K power.

Absolutely love mine. 30 hours on it now. The defrost works great, there are four outlets between the windshield and the steering column plastic. Turn it on defrost, you’ll feel the air come out on the windshield. 🤙🏽 A&B settings for the throttle are handy. I have mine set for my 540 speed, and the B setting I have set lower for when I turn, slows down without switching gears.

Congrats on the new purchase. Seems a well finished simple utility tractor. I wish Kubota would lift their game, with the sub 100hp utility tractor range and offer "premium" features like their European rivals like Fendt, John Deere and SAME Deutz Fahr have for over 20 years, because it would give us smaller producer's a better range to pick from.

I believe the A/B switch is is for engine RPM presets. For instance if you are doing some speed-critical work you can set the engine speed with the A/B switch and return to that setting after turning on the headland or whatever. Loader is the same on my M5660...a very capable loader and silky smooth when lifting and curling at the same time. I love the ePTO as well. Those rear tires are radials too! The cast iron hub on the rear wheels is an option.

Yea I just bought a new M7060 last spring with the R4 tires mounted to it. Also added the rear wiper kit for 260$ which was a plug and play install which your should be as well. Not much difference between the m4 and m7060 same motor just layout and wider cab for buddy seat. Yes you can get the weights and they also offer a cast rim as well. The heat works great remember you have defrost for the front you can see the vents on the side and top. Your 3rd function kit part number is M7992 that’s for cab models. Goodyear also now offers the new R14T tires which are between the AG and R4 Same low profile like the AG but different tire pattern. I went this big on my 12 acer farm because I needed to lift 2k pallets of cow and horse food. I started with an L3301 kubota and it was not enough for what I wanted it to do only lift 1000 lbs max That two pin hole you have is for height and lifting power. The bottom hole selection is for power you can lift close to 3k in that hole but loose a foot of height. Top hole is around 2,400 lb lift cap.

I love my m9960 Kubota. They’ve come a long way in the last 15-20 years on their lineup with purchasing great plains (land pride included), kverland, and working with versatile on the m8 series. I’ve done quite a few torture tests on what mine can handle. It pulled a 30’ Krause finisher at speed just high fuel consumption, pulled a dmi 530 disk ripper at 8” depth had mostly traction problems attempting that. Kubota machines are very durable and the price is usually better than competitors What I don’t like about my kubota is the skid steer plate is too thin for a 100 horse machine and the plates warp under load, the options aren’t as in depth as other brands which is an issue when precision work and hydraulic pump capacity is a major thought behind a purchase, and I ripped the tool box off pulling the batwing through rough brush. If you don’t have the ksr option on it that’s a pretty sweet option and easy to install, it makes the loader a shock absorber and the ride is way better. You’ll want it turned off for grading with a bucket but it’s great for driving over rough terrain.

The V3307 engine is a good engine and for 70 horse will do great since they do use it in the SVL 75 CTL . Kubota does tend to lack some in cabin comfort i will say from my standpoint in the AG tractor side but for the price tag i can make due without power mirrors and led lights and no radio since those i can add easy and not at big cost . Kubota is learning fast as they step up to larger AG and i do know they will have up to 300 horse before much longer

That land plane works great, think I may add that to my wish list for resurfacing my driveways. Nice to see color blind reviews and pointing out all the features. My only thing against JD is the price. I wouldn't mind a 4R series, but between the price and finance terms, beyond my budget. Ideally this model tractor is what I should be getting for doing hay work, but for 3 acres the L4060 will do it just fine. If I find land to lease nearby to do hay work on, might need more power, but will save that for the future.

Nice tractor! Neal at Messick's did a video recently called Neal's deals. In that video the were selling a bunch of rear cab windows that did not have defroster wires in them. He stated that from the factory the cabs did not have rear window defrosters but a dealer can order a kit to add rear window defrost. You might want to add that to your new tractor.

There is one accessory (if possible to get) that I really like to recommend: wiper and heat for the back window. Doing snowremoval in about 0°C with sticky snow coming down. I don't have ac in my tractor at work, so alot of humidity comes in the cabin. The front window keeps fine but the side windows and the back window gets dripping wet. The tractor is about the same size as the Kubota, a Valmet 365. But on that one the loader is "self levelling", the bucket/forks stay level if I lift them up.

Wanted to point out that Kubota does offer a Creeper gear option on the M4. That would be very helpful for PTO work like rotary tilling or snow blowing when you need that just barely creeping along kind of speed on occasion, not unlike you can do with a hydro transmission, without being forced to ride the clutch. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think the Creeper option can be added by a dealer after the fact.

Yes, the M4 can be ordered with optional heavy cast center rear wheels and R1 tires. You can also, in theory, order it with R14 tires, but the online build application does not also list the cast rear wheel option at the same time. 'Course, availability may be an issue these days.

Howdy Courtney, Kubota looks really good! Wanted to see what ya thought about which firearm that's for "whatever gets you b4 you get it" don't get a chance.😁🤠 Looks like lots of places to attach. May want more than one. Like guns, who can have too many tractors eh? Cept'n for collectors....wife will go off on after sooo many. But ya won't know bout HER LIMITS!!!! OUCH!😁🤠

Only complaint I would have is the bucket roll back uses the rod end of the cylinders. Designs useing the cylinders base ends have more break out force.

The defrost works great. I think when you select defrost to clear the window of frost, there are small vents where the dash meets the windshield that the warm air comes out of. That is how my M7060 is. Hope you like it.

I have a 7060 also and they do defrost perfectly with the front dash vents.

I have an m4, defrost comes out of a space between the dash and the windshield. I don’t know if defrosts yet since it’s been over 100 for a month here and it’s new. But I suspect it would be a perfect solution based on how the cold air flows out.

Take the loader number and multiple by 2.2 to find the lift capacity in lbs. That should be around 2500 lbs on the power hole. I own a M7060 with the same loader. I also have a M5-111 and like it even better than the M7060. More power and greater lift capacity. We snow blow with Normand Hybrid inverted blowers. Also use them for plowing when we get a big dump.

Nice tractor but they could have moved the exhaust to the corner post for better visibility, still nice though!

I'm looking forward to seeing this tractor in use as it's currently on my shortlist for potential future tractor purchases (in part due to the buddy seat). Be interesting to see how it does on fuel usage given one of the potential uses I'd have would be using it with a PTO generator for remote and/or 3 phase power (in addition to more traditional/typical tractor uses).

The tires may not be low on pressure at all. Radial tires really flex and look low benefit of radials is much better ride and low compaction on your pastures
