I was already put in the friend zone, and then I just abandoned the friendship, she then complained that I didn't want to know about her anymore... because she didn't have anyone to talk to anymore... her boyfriend doesn't like to talk to her the way I used to, and she doesn't spend as much time with her boyfriend as she used to with me... she wanted to meet up and talk to me...she having her boyfriend!... I just said that I already had something to do with my girlfriend at the weekend... time to time she calls me, or sends me a message, and I just reply as politely as possible ... sometimes we don't recognize what we already have, and we always think we can find something better...

@miltonatgoogle1140 Sounds about right. Dating apps/sites data shows that the majority of females goes for about 20% of men. They like to talk about how crap men are but that’s the men they go for. They don’t go for the men who would treat them great (most, not all).

*Another movie where the "innocent" main character's close group of friends is the party-hardy type.* *Thibault* Calling his character goofy is not the most accurate way to describe him it's more like he's unbearably naive (with a hit of pushover ness added to the mix). One of the main problems for me is that the movie bounces around with the moral intelligence of his character. 0:33 On one hand he's very withdrawn into swimming with all those naked girls at night (Something like that invites trouble) but on the other hand, he's still watching naked girls swimming. 4:15 Somehow he can't understand what "hooking up" 5:00 This part makes no sense. How can Thibault have gone on multiple dates with her but then not be sure if she likes him or not 5:21? (The movie doesn't let us know if these are just two friends hanging out doing platonic friend stuff but then how does a person go on multiple dates with no physical intimacy like kissing and then expect to do the Bedroom rodeo as their first act of intimacy?) Again his character is designed as to nonsensical. 8:16 Can't understand what intimacy is even when it is being explained to him which makes his decision to sleep with Rose even more confusing than it already was because as it says 8:37 After he is changed into more of a bad boy his morals take another dive 10:49. You see the movie doesn't let us know if he is a virgin or not and one would assume that he is after how bad he is with carnal knowledge but then you have an intense scene like this 11:05 where he basically tricks a girl into the sack on there first "date". And at the end of this jiggling act of a character 18:01 Thibault does have the intention of cheating on Jennifer. He even stupidly tells Rose he doesn't care about Jennifer. If I'm being honest when that ambulance crashed into, I didn't find myself worried that he never reconciled with Rose. *Maud, Lulu, and Alexandra* You know that phrase that goes like "You don't ask a fish how to catch a fish, you ask a fisherman how to catch a fish." Well, that applies here except you don't ask women for dating advice on how to get a woman because the advice is harmful and or inappropriate, such as advice that promotes unhealthy or immoral behaviors. Just listen to this modern-day hogwash! 4:11 Lulu's hook-up culture advice. 8:24 This Group advice is nothing but their own specific wants and doesn't apply to Rose so the advice is terrible. 9:31 And this group advice is high school child games. All in all, they are just a bunch of low-standard modern-day dingbats. When they are all introduced at the start of the movie somewhat matches how Thibault described them when he insulted them near the end of the movie. *Maud's Introduction* An independent banker who unapologetically embraces her sexuality (Aka shameless tart) *Thibault Scrutiny* Which is him calling her a hypocrite for criticizing others when she doesn’t have long-term relationships (Which is true) *Lulu Introduction* Goofy.......no, no, that's it. That's all she got. (But she should have gotten way more, listen to this evil plan 14:38) *Thibault Scrutiny* He calls her irresponsible which her personality and behaviors say as much. (Did you hear how she was talking to him when with that kid in the room.....Inappropriate, not to mention very shallow). *Alex Introduction* The sweet girl next door type.....which is a BIG FAT LIE! Look at this 8:16 does that look like the "Girl Next Door", I think not! She may be the least destructive out of the three but she still gives bad advice. Remember when Thibault straight out asked her about her relationship with her supposed husband 8:47 "She can feel and see it in his eye"........what kind of one-note unhelpful nonsense is that (She doesn't have a husband, we never see him once in the whole movie). *Thibault Scrutiny* She gets yelled at for naïvely trying to make everything fit into her idea of a perfect world. They all had a hand in turning Thibault into an annoying sybarite when none of it was necessary in the first place but they couldn't see that because they are all so self-centered and simple-minded. *Rose* What can we say about Rose? She is a victim of modern-day thinking. You might not have noticed it, but this movie has two Roses. The first Rose is a nice, happy-go-lucky, fun-loving girl who (I'm guessing mostly because of her look) is seen as a social butterfly, i.e., a party animal or Energizer bunny. The second Rose is this dummy the movie made to continue this Friendzone story plot. Rose breaks up with her Ex, a man named Bruno because as she said, he is about the worst Boyfriend 4:38 she ever had. BUT!!!! Then you get this awful tommyrot 9:58 In the beginning, Rose was good, and the only reason they weren't a thing is that Thibault thought trying to sleep with someone was how you start a romantic relationship and piled on to the fact that his only close friends gave terrible advice through assumption when they should have just told him to ask out Rose instead of assuming she is not interested. I look at her at this part 15:30 does that look like the face of someone who just wanted to be friends? Maud, Lulu, and Alexandra can recognize that Rose is somewhat jealous of Jennifer, which means he was never just in the friend zone to begin with. So besides the movie making Rose go back with that lower-then-pond scum dirty bag of a man Bruno Rose was a "good" person who wouldn't even cheat on someone as awful as Bruno. *Jennifer* Poor Jenni......... unfortunately, she does have a shallow personality and an annoying job (if you can even call it that) but Thibault knew all this when he stupidly went after her. She actually doesn't do anything wrong besides having modern-day self-esteem and easy-to-break morals. But the part where she kicks Titi's butt 18:55 was very satisfying (especially after the way he used her). *Bruno* He needs to remove the Holy Cross he wears around his neck. He's nothing but a plot device to extend the movie and keep the main characters away from each other.

@itsevan4338 Why? She was having him work as her full time photographer. A man only wants peace. He shouldn’t have dropped them both. Friend zoned me? You’re lost. He basically said he’s fine with being second choice by going for Rose. She didn’t like him as her first choice, she laughed at the thought of getting with him. Also why would MC be getting instructions from his 3 female friends? He shouldn’t be getting advice from the husband of the blonde friend if anything. They working out advice is good and so is not being too talkative but you would want advice mostly from those who were in similar position as you and not on the opposite side of where you’re at. He still could talk to them but girls are fickle and don’t always mean what they say
