Whats up Yak Squad! Today I wanted to see for myself how the Googan Baits Krackin Craw compared to the Strike King Rage Craw. The underwater test and footage made it super easy to come to a decision and with that being said, I truly like the Googan Bait better. When it comes right down to it they both use Steve Parks (inventor of the Rage flange) flange design. I think then plastic formula is what really plays into the action.

I've used all the googan baits, and this is what i tell everybody. Their movement is either just as good or close to the best, but the scent is the game changer. I've caught more on googan baits than other brands combined.

I think they both did good. Both have their pros/cons. You should try doing the ozark trail $2 crank baits against higher brands. I found you on Instagram and that's why I'm here! Great video!

You could tie 2 hooks on your line about a foot apart and rig each bait to see their swimming action and know their both being reeled at the same speed. I'd like to see you test the savage gear snake or the lunkerhunt spider when the pools full of people to see which one clears everybody out of the pool the fastest

Amazing stuff dude and I have been having trouble using lipless Crankbaits so I thought about adding a jig spinner on it.Is that a good or bad idea??

EveryDay Man 24/7 Lipless for me is all about getting a reaction bite. 99% of the time I’m gonna burn a lipless, and by that I mean reel it back in fast enough that you think a fish might have trouble chasing it down. They see it, think oh it’s food, and eat it or it might get away. The less time they have to think about it the higher your chances of catching. Also where you throw it matters also, I like throwing them between saddles and over points when I’m in open water. When grass is present throw down the edge of weed lines or when the grass is submerged try reeling over the top and when you feel it catch give the rod a swift pop up while still reeling.

Banger man always like the underwater demostrations so we can see what it does underwater. I think the googan baits have better action swimming it, the rage crawl better working I agree on that. I know u usually do freshwater underwater demo. Would u do some salt water bait ones like gulp swimming mullet and a gotcha plug everyone I talk to has so much success on those and I can't I don't know what I'm doing wrong would like to see it work underwater? Duuude dont get get kicked out of the community pool 🤣..feel better brotha

I think the strike team has better action. The googan bait has more scent. All depends on what you're looking for. Caribbean is better just fishing Texas Rig. Strike King better for trailer

I like the rage craw the best. I was fishing this weekend and landed my new PB Smallmouth bass she is 22 inches long. I was using my new favorite soft plastic a jawbone paddle tail minnow. Keep rocking us with awesome videos!

Rage craw is the same, in fact the claws are even thinner so you end up losing them faster than googan, but thats just my personal experience . It all depends how the fish take it.

i am a firm believer in the strike king. and when i am fishing a craw it’s usually as a flipping bait or a a flipping jig trailer. when i am fishing a swim jig and i our swimbaits on the back of my swim jig. And i’m not big on swimming craws. so i’m always gonna go towards the rage craw when looking for a craw bait. but hey that’s just my opinion! You do you we all have our preferences! Great video!👍

I use both, I’ve found the strike king holds up a little better. Both work good. Took second in my last tournament on the strike king and one lure landing on average 3 fish consistently. The googan would catch 1 maybe 2 before needing to be switched out. It’s not much better but you can tell a difference in the plastic just squshing them down. There is something to be said though about that slaunch sauce. It works, it smells of fish, fish like it. I break out googan baits when I feel I need that little bit extra scent or different scent since they are such new baits. Both are great though and I’ve used a lot of googan stuff at this point and I’ve used a lot of strike king stuff over the years and both work, especially in hot summer months when fish are really active in feeding. The action is both good and both catches fish. You’re splitting hairs trying to figure out which is better between the two.

I haven’t used a cracked craw yet but I use rage craws everywhere and haven’t had an issue catching fish with them. After catching a fish I can still get the same action out of the rage craw. Can the same be said for the cracken craw?

The strike king in the smaller size makes a great jig trailer on smaller jigs for smallmouth, but I kept having the pinchers taken by smaller fish. So if the Googan craw has beefier pinchers that is a plus for me, except I think they only make them in one size.

I'm kinda partial to the Rage Craw, simply because I've been fishin' them for a while now. My only complaint with them is durability. They only last maybe 2 fish, then you have to change out the bait because it's torn up. Are the Krackin' Craw any more durable?

And I’d say they are fairly equal when it comes to durability. If you can keep your baits from being stored in a super hot/or direct heat/sun light, they’ll last longer.

Kind of partial to Strike King since I have caught so many fish with them...but I cannot knock the Googan Baits cause I have not had a chance to try them. I'm a fan of the Googan squad but that doesn't mean you have to use everything they do. Remember they used all other baits before creating their own line. Find your own groove. Baits that work for others might not work for you. Find your confidence and fish...you will have more fun that way!

I was fishing the krackin kraw during the pre spawn and i was slaying bass left and right only flaw its soo cheap rips apart after 1 fish. The rage craws on the other hand I've rigged it up Texas rig I didnt get hit as often. But now I primarily fish jigs and I prefer the rage craws due to its durability. The krackin kraw had scent and the googan fan boy base is big but, it's so cheaply made. It's like comparing a kastking Spartacus to a tatula sv

On a swimjig or chatter bait the rage craw would swim right bc it’s body is fixed in place and it won’t be able to roll around. I use rage craws on jigs and never had it mess up.

Fish both a lot. The rage series is a lot more durable and the coffee sent seems to work great the goggan craws are not durable but the action and sent our great the claws come off after one bite from a small mouth

I fish a really hard hit lake and have never caught anything on a googan bait. I have every color and every style of googan bait they make. I catch so many fish on rage products. I want to love googan so bad but it’s hard when you don’t catch any fish on it

Both look good but I honestly catch more with strike king. I catch fish on googan baits as well just usually do better with strike king. Plus I realized googan baits tear apart badly after about 1-2 bass. Strike king I caught up to 4 bass before it was done

I've had more success with Googan Baits! Beside the action the scent and texture play an important role. We've caught Bass, northern, muskie, crappie and perch on Googan Baits.

I like the Googan baits movement better, just a tid bit of info, watched a video earlier this year and the patent # on the Bandito bug, vile bug, and rage bug are the same, all being a ragetail product, not sure about kracken craw ... All are great baits though!!!
