A little info on the Googan Baits, when they were originally designed they licensed the patented “flange” on the end of the craw pinchers from Strike King. Once the baits were out and making the Googans good money they redesigned the flanges on all their baits so they didn’t infringe on Strike Kings patent and wouldn’t have to pay the licensing fee. Just wanted to throw it out there

I like the rage craw more just because it’s a little bit tougher plastic although Googan baits do have a softer plastic with better action. Great video by the way

I’m a huge Googan Baits fan too, however, here are my pros and cons on those two craws: pros: googan appendige on side of craw. Googan claws darker blue. Rage tail, stronger plastic which will last longer (however googan is updating their plastics currently). Cons googan plastic is softer and may not last as long. Action on strike king is not as dominant as the googan craw. Overall though, both really good baits. For a lot of folks it may come down to price tag.

Just get started and learn as you go. Everyone dislikes their early videos, but keep grinding and learning. Check the description box on this video and other fishing channels. They often post what equipment they use. Find some editing programs and research the minimum requirements before you buy a PC. And keep on posting questions to smaller/growing channels.. more likely to get a reply. Best of luck!

I honestly feel all of the strike king products also get bit way more than googan ones. They also are SUPER durable! In my opinion 6th sense crankbaits over googan ones and strike king, grandebass, and berkley maxscent for soft plastics all day!

Cool video. I heard you freaking out about color when it was raining. Tbh, it really doesn't matter that much. You basically want 4 shades - not necessarily the colors themselves. You want colors for... No sun (or little sun) and clear water. No sun and dirty water. Sunny and clear water. Sunny and dirty water. You can fine tune the dark color based on water color (green or brown). You want fish to barely be able to make it out or it to be so contrasting that it's offensive. Lol

They are basically the same thing, for me I prefer strike king colors. Googan baits are nothing special IMO. They are just as good as the next mediocre bait not better or worse. The only one I like better than the copy is the bandito bug. But I will give it to them they are good at marketing there baits which is good for them.
