@@PaoWeezy91 hes so annoying, he tries to look and act tough when the camera pans to him but he just complains about everything. Its so easy to get him riled up and shouting but you can tell the way he acts pisses off some of the googans. He got on flairs nerves a bit during the double pond catch challenge video and this one a bit but flair has to laugh it off. Jiggin was having all he could stand of mike too, mike wants to sabotage people but when he gets it handed back he yells cheater if he loses. Hes just not googan material, he stands beside lojo with his arms crossed giving an angry face like hes some bad bitch because hes next to loren whose pretty well jacked. Its like a form of little man complex that he doesnt realize he has but acts out on it so he just looks stupid trying to look serious and tough. Arguing over soap that disolves is also highly stupid on his part. Flair was pretty well joking but as soon as he tried to say the one fish on the tangled line was his mike would start talking loud at 900 miles an hour tossing his tiny arms around like an idiot. Flair and jiggin were good sports, when the soap was gone flair was like why is soap this good but when he tries complimenting his own bait mike shut him off squalling about the soap is the greatest thing ever. The googans are not fancy, not necessarily sophisticated, they are just good at reading weather patterns for them low pressure storm front bites. Mike carries a thermometer in his tackle box to check the water to decide lures or as the idiot likes to call them "lers". Goodness gracious that urks me so bad. He tries talking to fancy and proper too, there were rumors about the cause of the divorce and he wants to keep the divorce under wraps like theres stuff to hide. He just seems like a stupid person to hang around. The one thats tiny and runs that mouth then the rest of the gang has to handle the situation because he runs scared of gets flattened immediately.

Catfish follow the scent trail in the water. That's why they say, "the stinkier the better!" That soap was just laying out a layer of scent that only got better the longer it stayed in the water. And the natural current would just drag that Ivory everywhere. Great video fellas! Keep them coming

I use Ivory Soap in the creek/river and it WORKS GREAT. Wrap it in a piece of pantyhose and then stick the hook in it.

Has to be lye soap, because it is made from animal fat. Also if you melt the soap pour it into ice trays and place hooks in the melted soap then fridge it til they harden you don't have to worry as much about it coming off. Ol' timers use it on trot lines here in Alabama on the river.

Oh yeah soap works. I never used Ivory. But I run trout lines in the Brazos River here in Texas. I use a Mexican soap and it's kinda sandy. Soap stays on forever and leaves a great sent trail.

On the subject of soap, I use Sunlight soap in Australia to catch fresh water shrimp in bait traps. Maybe you should try your Ivory soap the same way.

Can confirm ivory soap works! We used it as bait in our hoop nets for a study we are doing with the WV DNR. A bunch of channel cats were caught and some really nice flat heads. Want to fish a really nice cat fishery? Go to the Kanawha and Ohio rivers in West Virginia!

My grandfather used to fish trot lines with ivory soap as a job. And he would bring home at least 3000 lbs of fish to sell to fish markets. every day he would do this and I would help him. They all were small catfish but the ivory soap works but not as good as fresh cut bait from the river you fish from.

I use beef jerky and slim jims to catch cat fish, bluegill, lake Perch and bass. There's some country's in Africa that use soap to catch monster fish from rivers. The only way to tell who caught the cat is to open up the belly and see if it was soap or bait.
