Thanks, but there seems to be an issue related to the part you skipped. For conversion tracking, it seems once we use the Firebase event "first_open" for our Android app, we can't use it again for the iOS app. Is there a way to do so? Because ideally, one would want to promote an Android app and its corresponding iOS app from within the same Google Ads account.

@@Ai_Monk I haven't managed to. But I made an attempt that went half-way through .. don't know if it would work for you if you avoid my mistake I mention below. In Google Analytics, you can create "custom events": events that get created when another event is received. I tried to create an event called "first_open_duplicate" that gets fired when "first_open" is fired. Then, once you start receiving new "first_open" events, which will create "first_open_duplicate" events, you will see the latter in the Google Ads account conversions screen, and maybe you can use it for the iOS campaign. Important note though (this is where my attempt stopped and I decided to park this again till I have more time): DO NOT go the conversions tool through your header tools menu and import your new event in the conversions screen from there. I did that and again when I went to my iOS campaign it said this event is already imported, so I couldn't use it nor can I undo my earlier import at all! Instead, try going through the campaign configuration your iOS campaign, and import it from there where it asks you to select the event. I hope this works for you. Let us know :)

@@greenmeadowstudios643 We have also generated same event for both platforms and used Android ads and now it isn't showing the option to use them for iOS. The only answer which I'm getting at the moment is to make separate events. In my mobile, I had missed the complete comment. I did that only, from the ios campaign configuration, when you want to get the events, it takes us to the import Conversion Action itself. So, I'm guessing it will result in the same only.

What I suggest is adding analytics events into your app (e.g. Firebase analytics) and import those events as conversion actions into Google Ads. Working fine for me

Ios app installs do not work in google ads, low impressions, low clicks, low installs....

Absolutely correct :( i have less than 100 impressions a day in IOS where android has 10k+ impressions. Same assets and keywords

In that video the recommendation said typical cost per install for this app is 0.28 Euros, yet you set it to 5 Euros with no explanation. Then you say average budget 50 x cost per install, with no explanation. How about considering the actualy cost of your app, alongisde conversion to reach a sensible cost per instal. What a pointles tutorial with no real information. I gave up half way through.
