Google Ads Auto Apply Recommendations: Which ones to enable?

Enable if you would like the algorithm to serve the ads and assets with the best CTR more often
➡️ Add responsive search ads
Do NOT use, unless you would like the system to create ads automatically
➡️ Improve Responsive Search Ads
Do NOT use, unless you would like the system to modify your existing ads automatically
➡️ Expand your reach with Google search partners
The system will always enable Search Partners (use only if you would like to use Search Partners)
➡️ Remove redundant keywords
The system will remove keywords that are not needed from your campaigns
➡️ Remove conflicting negative keywords
The system will remove negative keywords that do not allow your positive keywords to serve impressions
➡️ Use optimised targeting
Do NOT use, unless you want the algorithm to go above and beyond your audience targeting
➡️ Upgrade your conversion tracking
The system will give credit for conversions across multiple ad interactions with data-driven attribution

Do NOT use. The system will add new keywords to your ad groups.

Thank you for the recommendations with your explanations. This is very helpful and appreciated! I had a meeting with Google and they had me enable many of these and misled me because I didn't understand them clearly.

Yes they did the same with me and it cost me big time. Im not sure how helpful google is when it comes to setting up your account
