Your explanations are crystal clear but with the newest version of Google Ads, there is no option for me to use Google Tag Manager and no Conversion Label is supplied. I cannot get the conversion to work even though it seems to fire when I run the preview. Any ideas on what could be the problem??

I found out why soft softs so different compared to Ableton. It is because there is a default limiter on the master that i didn't know about.

Thanks for this info, very helpful. My setup seems to be working fine except that the conversion tracking isn’t always seeing the conv value. If I go into webpages on the conversion in Ads, it shows me plenty of order ids but only 1 in 5 have a conv value against them. Is anybody able to help?

Hello, I set up my campaign a month ago and before I set it up, I determined my bid strategy and then I made an assignment to the campaign I opened. FOR 1 MONTH MY CONVERSIONS WERE MEASURED AND MY CAMPAIGN was going very well but then I said to change my bid strategy and I accidentally deleted it while changing my old strategy and couldn't get it back. Hi Banjamin, my google tag is already correctly configured in tag manager, connected to analytics and installed to all my web pages and what's more ARE accurately reporting when someone sign-up for my services. The problem is that my google ads account is NOT reporting these sing-ups. Looks like these is a disconnect between tag manager and my google ads account. How do I fix this?

Since latest GDPR privacy policy in EU Cookie Banner prevent all kind of cookie to be set, we also block GA tag unless user gives explicit contents. I was wondering if this can push Google ADS to increase CPC since it can track only part of the conversions. In this case would a "maximize click" campaign be a better option? Thanks

I’ve just had a look and Google has added a new ‘scan your website’ feature. And you’re right, it doesn’t provide easily readable details to configure the tag in Google Tag Manager. To get around this, you’ll need to ‘scan’ your website, and then choose the option that says ‘Add A Conversion Action Manually’ right down the bottom. Once you’ve configured the conversion manually, you can then click ‘Save And Continue’. Then click ‘Done’. Then click the name of the conversion you just created. Then click ‘Tag Set-up’. And then… choose ‘Google Tag Manager’. Wow! They’ve made that super tricky! Hopefully Google tweaks this because it’s awful.

You can use audience targeting with a video campaign in Google Ads. There won't be a specific 'Liverpool fans' audience, but you could combine demographics to hit your targets.
