I found the video to be agreeable. There were a few plot twists in the story that kept me hooked. Though, there was nothing uniquely exceptional about it. I experienced some funny incidences sometimes and other periods of my time there where I got bored. In my opinion, this is just personal preference. Other people would definitely prefer this kind of video instead.

I have to say that there were some funny side events sometimes, but a lot of times I felt bored and didn't know what to do because there was not much happening that would caught my attention. For movie you made, it is just my own preference that other folks may like it or not.

I have a bit of an issue with my AdWords campaign which only became an issue in January/February for some reason and it relates to location targetting... My ads are set to only display to people interested in or have been to location “X” but unfortunately for me the users will be picking up an IP address for a location thousands of Km away (no idea why but the local telecoms companies provide an IP address that is in an entirely different location). So that means I get an inordinate number of people looking for my services in a location I simply cannot service. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Yes different locations have different rules around targeting. It mostly comes down to privacy regulation.

There are alternative options such as by postcode. But I think you will not be able to go smaller than 1 KM. Google doesn't want you to be able to target a specific person for example.

In that case you don’t want to target that local area, you want to target much more broadly as I’m assuming people will travel from all over, and then narrow with keyword selection

maybe your landing page isn't optimized for keywords your after (search network). for example your going after "google ads agency" keyword but your landing page is built for "digital marketing agency". same thing for the youtube ads, maybe your advertising content (video) angle don't match with the landing page.
