Excellent, as always! I’m a realtor in a tiwn that draws lots of tourists and near an area with tons of vacation condos, and I’m always surprised to see that about 50% of my GMB views are from desktops. Does that seem like a normal percentage?

Thanks Judy. There is no rule as such. Some businesses get 80% of their views from mobile others only 30%. It very much depends on your industry.

I would think, and just my opinion of course, in a tourist area most people will be doing more "research" when determining where to go, where to stay, what to do, etc...vs someone looking for a "restaurant near me" while they are driving around. Maybe that's why?

For the last year I have moved my business to my home and work remotely 99% of the time (I do not want to have my home address listed online. Top notch! thank you. I need help: I created a GMB listing for a business but even before verification, Google suspended the profile for noncompliance. I didn't think I did anything wrong and the only suspicion I have is that for a Fashion designing business, I chose a service area business instead of brick and mortar with an address. Could that be a reason why the account was suspended?

What can you do with GMBs that are located way outside a city area? Can you rank them to appear in the top 3 or are they too far out to rank?

Proximity is key so the further out your listing is from your desired target location the less likely it will rank.

HI Luc, my business provides on-site training in 3 provinces in Canada, this of course includes cities and towns, I suspect this feature is not recommended when using BL unless BL settings can be adjusted to reflect the search location (in this case provinces vs. cities).

You can definitely adjust the settings on the grid for example however, if you don't have a listing in the province you are targeting I doubt very much you will be ranking for any keywords.

Keyword planner is accessible as long as you have an google ad campaign even if it's on pause, so I'm not sure why you can't switch. Are your videos too heavy in size? This could be why they are not loading. The 60 minutes tutorial doesn't really cover these topics

Hi Luc - incredibly helpful video! I am also wondering if you have a video on how to manually change the location Pin on the map? I work from home so do not have a location listed in my profile, but now when I type my name into the Google Search bar it come up with my name, then Realtor and then Monmouth, OR which is incorrect. I am located in Salem, OR. How do I change this? Everything was fine with my location for a while and then all of a suddent it started showing as this. Frustrating.

👋🏿 I have a big issue with GMB when I create a page GMB ask me to put my postal address . I don't have one so I put something like that but the real problems is that I can't claimed that I'm the owner of the page I'm editing. Google propose to send me code by call or SMS but I don't work. Seo minion requires keywords everywhere, keyword everywhere requires an API KEY and it all wants you to sign up for a plan. Bright local only offers one grid point. Did I set it up wrong?

sadly both keyword everywhere and SEO minion have changed their business model since I made this video. If you're really serious about improving your SEO i thoroughly recommend you invest in one tool

You underestimate how dumb people are. I have photos on my Google listing and FB page, but I still get people asking if I have any photos they can see. Like it's right there, how can you miss it? Or one who said my phone number wasn't working when she was trying to call, but completely missed where she could instant message or email me OR fill out the form on my Google page. 🙃
