Awesome series Sir, your explanations are clear and precise. Only thing I would suggest is that you double-check the arrangement of your GCP playlist, for example: Lesson #1 comes after Lesson #4 in the sidebar, there are also duplicates in the playlist. Keep it up brother!

Every region within the country is not the actual Data Center. It typically consists of multiple zones but is not a physical data center itself. Zone is associated with a physical data center (or multiple data centers), a region is a broader geographical grouping of these zones.

Hi, zones are needed because if in one region contains only one datacenter or one zone, at any time any problem arises like floods, power interruptions etc. then the entire data centre might be shutdown. To avoid those situations, cloud providers constructed more than one data centre in a region called zones. This zones also not allocated at same place, they will allocated more than 25Km far away from each datacenter. If One zone fails then second or third zone will take care of needies. you can open your servers at any zones, if problem arises that zone, then immediately other zone will come into act.

Hi Jagdishan, you could opt for Coursera Google cloud platform specialization course. This would have access to labs as wrll. I have myself taken up this course, its not free but worth it. Just take a free trial atleast to checkout yourself.

Wrong information. Regions are not equivalent to Data Centers. Basic Cloud understanding need to be clear. Under each Regions there are 1-3 Zones and under each Zone there are around 1-2 Data Centers. So Regions are much much bigger than what we understand by Data Center in On-Premise concept. This concept is similar for all the 3 major Cloud Hyperscalers AWS, Azure & GCP.
