Yay explore report!!! I'm sure it's still looked into. Just for the fact it won't look good that they spent money on a project just to be abandoned. And God forbid another wildfire would breakout they would never hear the end of it.

The only thing similar I could think of were those numbers they marked in white stones along the west coast of Ireland to guide Allied aviators in WWII. I'm glad you've solved the mystery. 🛩️
