RARE 1700s Farmhouse Forgotten Deep in the Woods

I found a rare example of a 1700s working-class home that is slowly succumbing to nature. The historical tried saving it decades ago as this is 1 of only 2 examples of this style home. But, no additional funding could be obtained.
I had tried reaching out to see what I could do. The State had gotten back to me with resources to reach out and had indicated that they believe this is eligible for grants, but, I'm running into dead ends with no responses from those resources I had reached out to.

The tarp that the Historical Society placed over the home 20 years ago explains why the home is in such fantastic condition, especially the interior. Nice video!

Nice to see Bob again. The house was amazing. Hope someone sees this who wants to restore it. Love the way the staircase wraps around the fireplace. U know the house is old when there is a door at the beginning of the stairs. Guess that used to be a thing.

I’ve seen abandoned houses in much better shape that weren’t saved. Such a shame. I hope it gets saved But it is in rough shape
