User Experience of course being equal to modern websites. :)

Now, if only HTML 5 allowed me to do something I couldn't do in the '80 with an Amiga and a C compiler, that would be awesome! I'm so looking forward to that!

I don't no what marketing people mean by this term, however what I mean by a good "user experience" is getting your work done efficiently while at the same time finding pleasure in doing so. From today's perspective, an Amiga is a great toy, especially for hipsters (because they love vintage stuff, right?). But it simply can't provide solutions for most of the modern use cases of applications, and if it can for some use cases, it's just not going to be very comfortable. Great for gaming though!

13:40 the input element should not render :before and :after elements, because it has no content. The fact that this works in whichever browser it does, is actually a bug.

Developing with "prefixes" sounds unprofessional, time wasting and indefinitely vague as I won't know if what I see today is what I'll be able to achieve tomorrow, meaning that I hate to go back and replace code whenever you think it's time to make a change...Or,am I wrong on this ?

YOU might not like to use it, but the hard real-world fact is that at least more than half of everyone visiting your website WILL be using it. You HAVE to make your website work on IE, whether you like it or not. If you don't know how or don't want to, you are one bad web developer.

I hate IE myself, but to be fair, the huge blame we put on IE is due to how Microsoft shipped the Windows OS with IE as default browser. Example, if Microsoft used Firefox as default since Windows XP, probably, there are many users using old version of Firefox so we'll start blaming Firefox Poor web developers. The fat lazy people browsing porn are the boss cause developers need make sure websites work for these people when they could have just updated their system.

Suck it? It's your loss. At least 50% and in some parts of the world IE still has the monopoly (think China). Wanna make frustrated users who hate and recommend against yur site? Sure, make it not work. I wasn't saying you are required to make it work in IE, but come on, honestly. A selfrespecting webdeveloper makes their site work in IE. If not, you are not a competent developer. And that's that.

I didn't mean that. I just want you to define "user experience". You're obviously not very bright but I'm asking you to define the term "user experience" because in reality it means nothing. It's pure marketing speech but I'm curious to know what significance you constructed for it in your foggy brain.
