If adblockers stop working on chrome i gonna switch to the next brower and if adblockers ingeneral gonna stop working i just gonna stop using websites for entertainment. I dont feel like wasting away my time watching ads. I stopped using twitch when it became too much of a hassle to stop ads. I also never use my phone to watch youtube because its too annoying to avoid ads.

2:29 Twitch uses server-side ads, where the ads themselves are inserted through the video stream itself. Most AdBlocker extensions only block client-side ads or pre-rendered image ads. KZbin also has these ideas in the future, given Google and KZbin's engineering, it's most likely become main plan for anti-adblock.

Ads are awful but I wouldn't mind paying for youtube/twitch if it wasn't so expensive. When I pay for f.ex. netflix they not only have to pay the server costs to serve me the video, they also have licensed and own-funded content. KZbin and twitch mostly have content made by independent creators, they have nearly no expenses to create it. Also an ad view is something like 2 cents and in Germany Premium costs 13€ so that represents ~650 ads. If there's an ad every 10 minutes that represents 108 hours of uninterrupted viewing, or roughly 3,6 hours of YT per day for a month. So unless you watch YT more than that you lose value for your money with premium. If it was priced for a typical viewer watching about an hour per day which probably is more typical Premium would cost less than 4€ per month which is a lot more reasonable.

​@@syntaxsultan For me Brave because u have Brave Shields which works very similar to uBlock Origin adblocking mechanism, but it have a bit weird bookmarks, password etc. sync option, so if u don't use some external password manager and had do use bulit-in browser password manager, then u maybe consider Vivaldi, or check both with portable versions
