I think this is the most interesting round that you've recorded so far. It was fun watching you work through some problems that you thought were actually kind of challenging, as opposed to the other rounds where you thought that the problems were mostly pretty easy

Python is very slow and rarely used in competitive programming.

Use python only if you are good at only python and don't have time for interviews. Exceptionally slow for real CP.

Good job! Have you ever heard of the advent of code? It is a collection of competitive coding problems with a story (normally a new problem comes each day in December, but the old years are still available) It would be cool to see you livestream/ make videos on the problems. Each day has 2 parts where part 2 expands on the problem from part 1.

RE in problem C maybe because of the recursion depth, when the tree is a linked list the recursion can be very deep that cause the StackOverFlowError. I solve this error by running the solution code in a "new" customized stack size java Thread. Hope this can help you:)

You dont compile from vim. Its just a text editor. You use a compiler to compile it for you like clang or g++. Use a terminal for that or a command prompt

for competitive programming, speed is useful(sometimes time limits on your program), c++ is fast and that's great. he may have also just checked what did other top coders use, which is usually c++ and he followed suit
