So, I went to do this in the app. But before any processes are done, you have to input your full name, address, email, phone number and other personal information. In my experience, Google has always been on the TAKE. Now they are offering up yet another freebie, but you have to GIVE your personal information yet again. Seems dubious.

This is exactly what happens on all those people finder websites! They ask for ALL of your personal info and then as the guy said, there’s no guarantee they will even remove it… so now you just gave them even more information than they previously had.

They'll give you this tool but no help tracking phone via EMEI which is absolutely RIDICULOUS that this service is unavailable especially considering how much we pay for smartphones! Police can do it but we can't.
