Great tutorial. Does the teacher (or whoever initiates the meeting) have the only control over what each user sees in their screen? Or can the students manipulate who/what they're seeing as well?
@laurenrichardson87254 жыл бұрын
The kids cannot manipulate anything amongst themselves in terms of what they are viewing. They can only share their screen with all or none of participants so the teacher will always know what is being seen by the group. The only reason they would not see what the teacher is presenting is if they "pin" someone as their main screen.

Love your video. Do I need to allow each student in (like they knock on the door) or does the link simply allow them an automatic "seat" in the classroom?

Question & Comment: Very helpful, Lauren. I'm guessing you used Camtasia to record this well done overview. Right? Lauren may have a different answer for this so I defer to her (btw, great tutorial!), but if your school system uses Canvas LMS you can create your own permanent link that the kids would go to each time you have class. Example: "g.co/meet/yourclassname" but all students would have to be logged into their student accounts (it can't be used with their personal gmail/email accounts).
