ok so finally someone who is the whole package doing a tutorial. I love your energy, your articulation and your knowledge base. I am older and Tech stuff does not come natural, yet I dont need to be spoon fed and have things repeated multiple times either. You do such a great job on camera and I look forward to listening to more of your stuff! Thank you!

This was so helpful. I am a reformed mess. Although organization doesn't come naturally to me, I do strive toward organization. I recognize the peace and ease it brings to my life. I married a very organized man 18 years ago and I have been adopting his ways ever since. I am an example of organization being able to be taught. I really appreciate your tips and how concise your lesson was presented. Thank you so much.

I am the older teacher who hates to constantly be asking for tech help (but I do). This is a great help for me. I will share your link with my fellow teachers. They may have already found you. Keep up the great work and stay safe.

Another idea that is a game changer and very helpful. I set my folders up to and created folders based on grades along with subdirectories for subjects. My icloud storage is a hot mess and is now sorted in google. This whole video has really helped me organize so many documents. My next goal is to start scanning and uploading documents. I have papers all over the place and it is annoying. Something calming and beautiful about being able to find everything at first glance.

I will take your ideas into my last two years in the classroom.

A piece of advice for anyone with MORE than 9 folders: instead of putting the number "1" write it as "01". Google goes by the first numeral, so "10" will end up BEFORE "2" unless you make it "02." Had a very aggravating 20 minutes 3 years ago until I figured this out...,🤦🏽♀️
@PocketfulofPrimary5 жыл бұрын
Yes! I forgot to add that in there. Personally, I always keep my "broad" categories to under 10 because I keep my "teaching" files and "personal" files in separate Google Drive. But you definitely may need to use this if you keep all your files in one place and have many different categories!
@Anathema523805 жыл бұрын
@@PocketfulofPrimary haha. I've had a few years of figuring this out. Our district uses the G-suite as everything so the kids all have Google accts via our school network and we are a 1 to 1 district with ipads. We've gotten very good with the ins and outs of this stuff. Which means my drive is a HOT MESS right now. Time to do some digital Kon Mari...because #teachersarehoarders and #digitalhoarding is the worst ...
