Hi! It's a good video. I have a question. Is it works without T1 and T2 cable ? I haven't any old thermostat and wire in the wall. But it's wireless right? 🤔

Best video all the others I have seen are garbage. In simple terms the wiring of the Nest Heat link is a 230v relay utilizing the T1 and T2 as a 12v to the thermostat interface basically switching you from a 230v thermostat to a 12v and points 2 and 3 is the relay (230v) to kick the heat on and off. Top video R-Jay, quick question before I wreck it with a screw driver! I have put my Nest on to the back plate to test a psu I'm going to use; but because its not connected/screwed to the wall how do you release it from the back plate?

Ah as you were R-Jay I gently gripped it inside and pulled! off it came :-)

Hi, thanks! I used a 4 wired signal cable. (4 x 0.8mm) You actually only need 2 of them. But unfortunately I couldn't find the right cable in my local hardwarestore.

Hi I’m a bit confused with the peely screen protector plastic film does it cover the whole screen and a big circle peels off or is it just that one small section at the bottom? Just installed mine and the farsight feature isn’t working so wondering when I peeled off the tab part did it break or was that it. Many thanks

I am not a 100% sure what you mean. In my case it covered the whole screen. I hope your problems are solved in the meantime.

U dont need a c wire right?

Yes, you need it for the heat link.

Do they all come with a heat link?

Im not sure. Maybe in different countries they come with different types. I think the best is to ask the company where you want to buy it.
