I had the Pixel 3XL and it was actually quite amazing, although I got bored that it didn’t get Android 12, so I sold it (and then the update came like two days later lol) Now I’m rocking the Pixel 3A XL and it is SO LIGHTWEIGHT! It ain’t the fastest thing in the world, but it is so charming. I love it, the camera is awesome, the display is pretty good, the battery is more than ok and the haptics are so great. The design is so nice. I’d recommend it still. Although it is a little slower in Android 12 compared to 11. Does anyone know how to downgrade?xd

I'm getting the pixel 3 soon as I dont need an expensive fancy phone and wanted something under £150. I could've gotten the Samsung A13 64gb but wasn't happy with how big it was

😎 Absolutely helpful. Just ordered and received a pixel 3 in excellent condition. For today Dec 2022 and the price at 99 bucks is a great value in a very comfortable pocketable phone. It's super fast and 128K storage is great considering no memory card slot. The camera is one reason I purchased the phone and the chins do not bother me because the main reason was the sound quality of the DUAL FRONT facing speakers. Awesome stereo sound. By the time you put a case on it it's still a very pocketable phone. The only drawback is like you said a dim screen outside and battery life can be challenging but it recharges fast so no issues. So far I really like this phone and I'm meticulous. I may order another to replace a aging Motorola X4 we have. I use dark mode and the multiple colors that the Google pixel uses is rather refreshing. I do not like the idea that I cannot move the Google search bar but I think that's a OS 12 issue also the speech search and the way it pulls things up differently than if you type it in I do not like. Also the shortcuts drop down menu is large on the pixel and take some getting used to but not a deal breaker. I do miss a couple of Moto features shake for the flashlight and three finger screenshots but I assume they make apps for that. Overall the Pixel 3 still shines in 2022 and if I get two years out of it especially for 99 bucks with warranty I will be very happy. Keep up the good reviews.

By far the best pixel phone I've ever used, still using it now and prefer it over the newer models. The camera is perfect for me and I find even some of the newer models don't compare to the consistency of the pixel 3.

I recently got myself a new pixel 3xl, and i am so much in love with this, this was a great upgrade for me from my 5 year old Asus Zenfone 3, which was also an amazing flagship phone. So the battery on the xl model seems to be pretty fine as coming from a 2600mah phone, i dont need to keep it in charge ghe whole freaking day, i have charge it at max twice a day on heavy usage giving mr close to 7 hours of Screen on time at max in one charge, wheb outisde the home this lasts me throughout the day with remaining 60 percent even when features such as gps, full brightness, cellular data is used. The camera is so so sooo beautiful, I was used to gcam as i have used gcam port on my old device but that was slow, and this ine has great dynamic range and its so snappy, plus the video is also very very nice, if you want 4k60 you can get a MSG mod but imo its an overkill for regular videos, and take up lot of storage. The storage is also an upgrade, though 64GB is not that great compared to my other phones coming with 128GB and additional sd card slot, but I dont use billions of apps and also no games and google provides unlimited free cloud storage for photos and videos, so have not to worry about that. The performance is snappy and seldom crashes, Android 12 is amazing, i absolutely love this. Recommended.

I got one for like $70 from woot 3 years ago. Lol. It was technically like $80 but there was some kind of birthday event from woot or something so it ended up being I don't know. Maybe 73 plus tax or something. It was marketed as being scratch and dent but there was not a single scratch or dent that I could detect and it had 87% battery health. I mean I didn't even need a phone. I just thought it was such a low price. It might be worth playing around with. The only disappointment, is that the one I have does not have an unlockable bootloader which is probably one reason it was even cheaper than usual.

I liked my Pixel 3 a lot but I ended up having to get 2 different replacements from Google under warranty. Plus the battery wasn’t the best. Unfortunately, as much as I have loved nexus and pixel phones, I ended up switching back to iOS with the 13 mini. Just didn’t like the looks of Android 12 and kept seeing too much about bugs on the pixel 6.

Still a decent device, even for daily use, shame about the battery life, replacing it it’s not an easy task. But I think it’s worth for the camera, (that’s why I would buy it, for ocasional photo shoots) current mid range android phones are still behind of google’s results. And like you said, even though the support is over, the apps will be updated for a very long time, I have a Samsung stuck on android 8 and it works fine with all apps up to date.)

As much as I love my pixel 6, there is something about the pixel 3 that I just love and miss. If google can remake the pixel 3 with the new camera and tensor chip I would buy that no hesitation.

I got one on eBay at an auction for $76 as an upgrade for my 3A. This phone really impressed me, but the lack of a headphone jack is disappointing since I had to spend about $10 more on a headphone adapter and lost the ability to charge and listen to music simultaneously while driving (my car is from the 90s and I don't want to mess with Bluetooth, so I use the aux input instead). I got a new battery and replaced it myself following an iFixit guide, so now the smartphone is literally good as new. Thanks to the easily unlockable bootloader and accessible flashing tools, I was able to downgrade to Android 11 because I hated the design of 12. Awesome phone overall

It is still worth it to replace the battery even if the phone is only $100 brand new in 2022 because if at the end of the day your only purpose for using the phone is for very basic functionality (calling, texting, messaging, light emails, basic web surfing), then you should never have to replace the entire hardware unless your device needs necessitates features or performance that this phone can not offer. I'm rocking an S7 whose battery is still the original battery and it still holds up reasonably well even for a battery that's aged for 6+ years (and that is with occasional intense usage too). Is the phone slower comparably speaking? Yeah, but does it get the job done? That's the most important question.

😎 Absolutely a great value for a excellent phone in 2022. By the time you put a case on it it is still very pocketable and the best sounding phone with the dual FRONT FACING speakers I've ever seen. I picked up a 128 for 99 bucks and the years warranty not a bad deal.

Certainly! One of the most perplexing and abstract concepts to grasp is the idea of multiple dimensions beyond our familiar three-dimensional space. I personally don’t like android in any way, but I kinda prefer iPhones over android mainly because of how seamlesss apps work and how different the os you use! Of Course you lose some features that are on android but honestly, I don’t care!

I'd hardly call it a flagship- with a subpar processor, small battery, 4gb of ram, and a 60hz screen- it's a mid range phone at best. Compare it to the Razer 2 which I bought the same year and it destroys the Pixel in screen size, refresh rate, battery, sound, ram, thermals, performance, build quality, and so much more- basically everything but the camera and software.
