To add my twopenn'orth, I've used iOS and Android, and I actually prefer old versions of iOS. Not by much, but they look a lot prettier than Holo, and miles better than Material Design currently is.

@@jameswalker199 I used to use the iPod Touch early couple generations as well as the fourth I believe and I have an iPad mini 2 that I used to use as well. I can agree that old iOS was pretty good, but at this point it is Android devices making innovation, and I want the next Pixel 4 for the best Android experience possible with frequent updates. I'm using an S9+ right now, and I do feel I have more flexibility in what I can do. The only thing I miss is Snapchat optimization (which is coming later this year and somewhat available on the Pixel 3) and iMessage. Everything else is either equivalent or better in my experience. I tend to do work on mostly my desktop and laptop, however, one running Windows 10 and another running Ubuntu Linux.

Watching this in 2021 and it is still a good take, I'm still rocking my Pixel 3 XL and I have been happy. I love plain old Android and google assistant works super well. Camera is still excellent. Video is still fine but not exceptional. There are better cameras now and better phones but the pixel 5 didn't really do it for me, I returned it. Considering the iPhone 12S/13, just really want a high refresh display. Maybe the pixel 6 will be the right phone. Wish it had a little more RAM. I don't multitask much, phone is just twitter and some KZbin, have other devices I use for consumption. Tldr: love my 3XL still and this review holds up to long term testing. It was the third or fourth review I watched (and the last)

Marques if u dont like the navigation gesture, i highly recommend you download fluid navigation on the play store then use adb shell to hide the navigation bar and boom extra real estate, theres a couple of videos online on how to do it, trust me it makes the pixel that much more usable

Wide is definitely a good look. Good idea about saving the transcribed screen calls. Got me thinking about the pixel stand screensaver mode. On occasion a terrible picture will pop up on the slideshow. I wish there was an easy way to 'thumbs down' the image so it would never play when docked. Beautiful video brother! I'm just starting out in the KZbin game except I talk about street photography. Hoping to get my videos this buttery eventually. 🙏🏾
