This is 699 and is way smaller so it has a way smaller battery, and its at 90hz, where the iphone isn't. So this is pretty good when you compare it to my 11promax

So the media also don’t have the exciting headlines for their Pixel 5 content which results in perceivably a boring phone. @Marques I am big fan of your reviews. Here are few pointers that I noted in using pixel5 with ATT for two weeks. Cons : 1) Its need a hardware update for sure , watching tiktok or playing a game for 60 mins make the phone hot ball. Same is case when I am setting up the phone initially and copying data from old pixel to new. 2) Post clicking a camera it's asking me to hold still for almost 5 to 10 sec , specifically on night or portrait mode. Processing of picture immediately after clicking is also lagging. Pros : 1) camera clicks are real amazing 2) perfect hand fit 3) Display is really good and with great battery.

I have a 4a and I do like the back fingerprint reader but I think the power button is the best place But I say that as a right handed person. Sorry to my left handed bros. On the 4a (and probably the 5 is no different) I do think it's just a touch too high up. Just a touch. But I enjoy this phone way now than I should considering I have a note 20 ultra lol

@@MarioGiustizia one the OnePlus 8 the power button is slightly lower right in the perfect spot, with a mute/vibrate/volume on switch above it and the volume toggles on the left side I like the button setup way better. My fiancé was supposed to get a replacement 3xl from asurion but they accidentally sent her a 4xl and we ofc kept it because when life gives you lemons you know what to do, so I sorta know about the pixel 4 button location

I am still very happy with my 3XL. Use S10 for work and I just love the pictures the 3XL takes. Will wait another year or so before I upgrade but I have absolutely not regretted buying the Pixel 3XL

You're point about the refresh rate gave me an idea: what if you did a video talking about the benefits and drawbacks of being a reviewer? You see it with movies a lot, where tropes and recycled ideas score very negatively for reviewers, but for normal people who don't watch movies 24/7 still love the other stuff done with it whereas it's worn thin with the reviewer. Anyways, love your stuff man!

@@joeymeyer2045 it doesn’t take a genius to understand that a 60hz iPhone will feel smoother than pretty much any 60hz Android phone, and Marques has commented on this in a video he made like last week lmao I think the point here is that iPhones feel so smooth that I think there’d be little point in adding a high refresh rate display. I understand the difference between 60hz and 144hz because that’s my monitor’s refresh rate, but on a phone it just seems like a waste of battery life when the iPhone is already so good

I was super excited back in the days of Google pixel first gen, but less and less drawn in by later models. I was in it for the software and the cameras, but the field for both of those has gotten so much better and diverse in other brands that I wish google would do something premium or at least surprising (RIP Project Ara) with hardware (though credit for wireless charging).
