They screwed up with the curved screen. I don’t see a real advantage of that. It actually takes away from the display. I pre ordered the regular 6. 90 hz is smooth. 120 hz is not necessary in real world usage. I game on a computer not my cell phone. I don’t use my camera enough to care about the telescope. Main camera will still capture beautiful photos.

Ordered the standard 6, upgrading from the 5. The bezels are better than getting horrible reflections on screen when watching a video which you will get on the Pro. After having a OnePlus 7 pro I swore I'd not buy another phone with a curved screen. But each to their own. For those needing a matching charger, the Amazon Basics 30w PD charger is spot on, been using mine for ages and only around £17. My Spigen case came this morning ready for when the Pixel 6 arrives, gives a good feel for the size compared to the Pixel 5

The 6 looks better than the 6 Pro from the back. The Robocop visor is placed slightly higher. The matte sides also feels nicer. I prefer the 6. Only thing I feel I'll miss is 4x optical zoom but not worth $300 extra.

Im still torn on which one I want. I did reserve the Pro and then cancelled it to reserve the regular 6 with a higher amount of storage. The 6 just seems like the better deal honestly. Most of the stuff is exactly the same minus the telephoto which would honestly be a nice thing to have cause I tend to shoot portraits and animals more then city shots using the uw. But still, the Pro is attractive. But it really seems like the mmw 5G is what is increasing the price so high and T Mobile for me doesn't really even offer mmw where I live so it doesn't make much sense. In the future, sure? But now, not so much.

Depends on if you like iPhone over android. That's pretty much just a personal preference. But if you want more features the 6 pro offers more than the iPhone 13 pro. The iPhone 13 pro just has a better all around battery, better cameras, a flat display (IMHO is better than curved), and more memory storage. But if you want the best Android phone there is? Then I say wait and see what the Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra offers. Idk when it's gonna come out but I hear it's soon.

I’ve just had about 20 minutes hands on at the local carphone warehouse. First impressions! It’s absolutely gorgeous! It feels like a flagship, it looks like a flagship and the camera bump in my opinion is the best new design on any phone. It makes the phone feel lighter as the weight it distributed right along the top. iPhone etc have huge big bumps on one side which makes the phone top heavy. The pixel doesn’t have that at all. I couldn’t take photos etc but I was able to watch KZbin 4k video and screen Is on par with my s21 ultra, very bright and great colours. The software experience! Wow just wow. Put it this way if my s21 ultra, a phone so many consider to be the best right now could run 100 mph the pixel 6 pro could run 150mph. People are concerned due to the embargo that Google are hiding something. Well I didn’t see it! It’s by far the best software experience on any phone I have ever used. Ok it was only 20 minutes but you get a feel straight away. This phone smashes through the os without blinking. Puts the iPhone. 13 pro max to shame. Can’t wait to get mine properly now as I did have some reservations. I certainly don’t anymore

@@j-mals me too.. I’ve been using Samsung fir a couple of years now due to pixel hardware not really being up to what I wanted. I also have a sneaky feeling Samsung has had a lot to do with the design of the pixel 6 as Google don’t actually make phones themselves. I’m confident that the software experience on the pixel will be better. It’s just one ui comes with so many little extras that pixel won’t have. I guess it’s try it and see.

I think the ultra wide and zoom cameras are weak on this phone, that's why they're doing that. The ultra wide doesn't even have autofocus.

I can't believe I'm saying this but this might be the first time I don't buy the pro or ultra model of a phone. I'd much prefer the flat screen and the fact that it'll probably be months before I could order a pro at this point it being so sold out. Would be nice to have the bigger battery battery though.
