I have iphone and android phone. For my usage pointless to have iphone because 50% if not little more apps I use on iPhone are android or non apple. I will stick with android.

To me, iPhone 13 is comparable to the Pixel 6 more than the 6a. The iPhone SE is the one that is in line with the Pixel 6a.

These were the two phones I was considering. Came from a Pixel 3a, which I absolutely loved. I've always been iPhone-curious. My wife has an iPhone, my daughter has an iPad and we have 2 Macs. I decided on getting my very first iPhone after 11 years of Android. Still not sure if I'm going to keep it. Super smooth, great battery. I miss Always on Display so much. We'll see. @@leviandhiro3596 Over a month in and I'm liking the iPhone. Again, the Always on Display is very much missed. I don't realize I have notifications. Mostly it's been a positive experience. I wish there were more 3rd party widgets, but that's not a big complaint. Battery life is still great.

I have the iPhone 13 green for two months. I like it but it do have little crashes and issues. I needed a new phone so I couldn’t wait for the pixel 6a. If I could get another line in the new future I get the pixel 6a. 60 Hz is not the in all be all for a phone.

Google dev makes mistakes on its Pixel phones but they always managed to make the "a" series Pixels really compelling! I got the 6 Pro and LOVE it. Although I do disagree with you on RCS, Apple should implement it. It is an open standard, it was not invented by Google, and it would make messaging between iphone and android sooo much better with high res pics, videos. RCS replaces SMS and MMS, they will have to do it eventually, but I am sure they will hold out as long as possible.

I believe it all comes down to preference. It's all about what the individual prefers. I understand that the the 6A has the same cameras as the Pixel 5 and it's predecessors. Great video.

Honestly TMobile was doing a add a line deal and while the 6a was free the 6 was only 5 a month so had to get that one love what few pictures I've taken so far

You're missing the point of RCS. RCS is supposed to eventually be replacing SMS, so it will be important for Apple too eventually support RCS since that will be the new standard.

We really shouldn't be comparing the specs so much with these phones as all of these devices nowadays are pretty dang good but where the Google phones separate themselves are with software that's more useful and helpful than anything else out there other than maybe the s22 ultra or z fold

First of all build q is much, much better on Iphone. Screen is much much better with overall better colors, much better brightness and Adaptive brightness is one of the best if not the best on Iphone in comparison to the worst on the pixel 6/pro/a. All around performance is like 3 times better, and in the coming years we will se that even more. Tensor is 65-70% slower then a15. Tensor has a lot of problems with overheating. Long term that is going to be desaster for motherboard and battery. Not to mention bugs all around the pixel phones nowdays, late updates, aughfull cell coverage, random connection issues. Did you try to go out on sunny day to record 4k video? Do it. You will se you will have camera crash in about 2 minutes. Do you really trust that phone, when is having that kind of the issues brand new? In terms of the cameras, in 2022 everyone is taking pictures mostly with ultra wide and making videos. In that comparison Iphone is much better than Pixel. Pixel squizes a victory in main sensor and that victory is so slightly. I can not express myself how much I LOVE pixel phones, but pixel 6 series is having same major issues concerning build q. and hardware architecture. Also samsung exynos is the worst option to build a house on it. I am so sorry for the pixel, and hope that tensor 2 will adress all the issues and make much better phone with pixel 7 and 7 pro, but I am not very positive about that. We will see, the time will only tell....

Battery is better with apple. If I use an android and an iPhone the exact same way, the iPhone will last longer. It’s just a fact. Also, it is user preference, but I want to love android over iOS. iOS just works better and that’s another fact

thats no fact just your experience. I had to use a iphone 5 se for work for years. All i did was read Emails and very seldomly call people. I had to charge it every day altough i did nearly nothing with it. I had to charge my android phone daily too, but i used it a lot too. I read that the iphone 12 mini wont last a day. Thats as good as my old note 9

Pixel photos tend to have higher contrast and iPhone photos tend to look warmer (have a slight yellow tint) that's about it. Pixel 6A uses an older sensor (IMX323) but it's still good and more than capable 🙂

@@smartphoneconversations From my experience with both (I’m android by the way) the 13 is so much smoother and doesn’t lag. The Pixel is great but from time to time it will freeze or have this odd delay. Head to head the 13 was always faster to me. My daily drivers are the 13 and Note 20 The Note has never given me issues and I think THAT is better than the 13.
