Coming from a die hard Samsung fan, am honestly really impressed with the pixel 7 pro, a lot of improvements were made from last year's pixel 6 pro and Google is doing really well with their tensor chipsets. Although the s22 ultra is almost a year old, I'd like to see the pixel 7 pro against the s23 ultra next year

I literally traded in my s22+ today for the Pixel 7 pro for the smoother animations. Stock android just looks so much more polished than one UI. My s22+ has had so much stuttering while running animations this past year. I've also been getting up to 4hrs 30min of screen on time average. The battery is horrible. Samsung really need to up their game, when it comes to smoother animations and battery.

I have the SD S22 Ultra and just got the Pixel 7 Pro, and the P7pro runs much smoother. Samsung really does need to sort out their animations and scrolling. After using the Pixel 7 pro, going back to my S22 ultra is a bit annoying because the difference in smoothness is quite huge.

I'm keeping my s22 ultra in case I don't like the 7 pro. Finally after 5 years a pixel I decided to buy. 5 years I wanted to try one but they always seem to have an issue. Looking forward to it arriving. I hope it's as good as it sounds especially the battery. If it's as this as my ultra ill be happy. Should be slightly better though seeing it won't have as much stuff on it.

This is really surprising tbh, i know s22 ultra is a year old at this point but it should be way faster than the pixel 7.. (as it shows in comparing raw power in the video rendering) Google are honestly doing magic with their optimization, the menus, scrolling and multitasking is so freakin smooth!! So glad we got snapdragon for the 22 ultra this year. It's the only reason I traded my 21 ultra in. Australia is another country that normally gets exynos but not this year. The battery on the 22 is better than my 21 was. I hope the pixel battery is as God. Should be better seeing it won't have as much software in it. This is my first pixel. Have put it off to 5 year's as they always have an issue. Hope that's not the case this year

Serious question. Who is placing there finger on the sensor and immediately taking the finger off? Like, before with the fingerprint being in the front, you'd leave it on until it unlock, on the back same thing, on the side same thing. Speed wise if you actually do the traditional scan of leaving the finger on the sensor, the pixel is only behind cause of animation.

Samsung Galaxy fingerprint scanner is way better than the pixel. U just tap your finger on it quickly. That's how you use the ultrasonic scanner.

What was more interesting is the battery life difference. Assuming that this was shot continuously with no charging, the S22U went from 72-57% while the pixel went from 50-42%. Software and efficiency more important than raw power. Samsung in trouble in a few years I think.

Google definitely did a really good job at making the Pixel 7 Pro run very smooth and fluid. Now going back to use my S22 Ultra is a bit annoying because I'm noticing the lag even more than I was before.

These tests are horrible and should not be the basis for your decision to buy a device. Tests like the one from Phonebuff are so much better and they do it several times to make sure the results are the same and not some one time fluke.

the slow loading time in twitter was definitely because of slow network, because in other reviews twitter is as smooth as on the iPhone with no Interruption at all, i can also see that the wifi is not close. As well as the fingerprint scanners seems to be as fast on both device as the loading animation is slow on the google pixel from what i have seen.

Qualcomm version way worse, a speed test between "S21FE Qualcomm.vs S10 Exynos", the S21FE Qualcomm refreshed most apps, second S22U was in beta, third, I don't think this is Exynos, because be lives in the US

theoretically s22 ultra has a powerfull chipset, but pixel 7 pro is running better the apps. The otimization of google's Android + google's chipset(tensor G2) is very good.

Yes true...maybe in chipset samsung a little bit more powerfull than google tensor g2..because samsung using 8gen1...but interms is the best and the most powerfull software in all android and the best optimization software in all android+google own chipset tensor g2...google pixel is the real king👑

After seeing this video, I wish again for Samsung to just release Snapdragon 23 Ultra`s... I think the S7 Edge (that I owned) was the last Samsung phone were the Exynos chip was better than the Snapdragon variant. (maybe S8 idk)

He also needs to do the test to the point where the phone is usable because the S22 Ultra isn't usable for a good 10 seconds after it boots. Once you unlock it it does a loading process for about 5 seconds, and then everything is really laggy for another 5 seconds and finally it settles down to normal. The Pixel can be used almost as soon as it finishes booting and you unlock it. It does have about a 3 second loading time after being unlocked, but there isn't any lag once the homescreen is loaded.

I just did a full reboot and clean boot on my SD S22 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro and for a full reboot the S22 took 53 seconds before the homescreen was loaded and the Pixel 7 Pro took 30 seconds. A clean boot from off took 35 seconds for the S22 Ultra and 18 seconds for the Pixel 7 Pro. And again, the S22 isn't even usable right after loading the homescreen because it lags horribly for the first 5 seconds on more whereas the Pixel 7 Pro can be used right away and there is no lag.

My pixel 7 pro absolutely smashes my s22 ultra as far as software smoothness goes. It has better cameras it's faster on day to day operations. It's just better all round.
