It’s really hard to choose. 😄 Maybe Iphone? Because I've seen a lot of pics that the iPhone takes a good shot of the human subject. Realistic skin tone and very good in edge detection. 🤔 Pixel for unique design and point and shoot. Samsung for screen display.

Hi, Dion. My favorite Pixel 8 feature is actually the 7 years of support Google is now offering. I sincerely doubt I would use the phone for 7 years, but this does offer the opportunity to hand it down to family/friends who can enjoy an updated phone until 2030. Favorite actual phone feature would have to be the new camera AI capabilities. Seriously, this phone seems as though it was sent back to this century from the 2100s! Thanks & great review.

@laaaably I noticed that when you turn on the phone the light will start at the power button part and also when turning it off it ends on the power button part; I think that it's just so coollll. Moreover, the magic eraser and magic editor are also very cool and can come handy at times.

I traded in my 14 Pro for a Pixel 8. I've only had it a few hours, but I love it. I prefer Android to iOS, too be honest. I've always gotten mid-tier Androids. It's nice getting flagship for once. Anymore, it's just personal preference. Unless video is side-by-side, nobody can tell.

@jemwell My favorite feature on the Pixel 8 has got to be the "Magic Eraser". It's the only phone, as far as I know, which can use generative AI to remove unwanted aspects of a photo. It's definitely a game changer when it comes to photography. 😊

@crsmontoya I love everything about it. The rounded frames, the colors, the camera upgrade, the USB-C (as an Android user that will make a lot easier the transition to iphone). Not forgetting to mention that I'm obsessed with the dynamic island and the action button... I'm really expecting a lot for developers to upgrade it's use in apps or future updates!

@kushank1 Love that finally they've given 120hz on standard pixel 8. Plus macro mode on ultra wide camera is an added bonus. Size also hits the sweet spot at 6.2 inches. Overall it looks way more premium than pixel 7.

My only gripe with the Pixel 8 is that only the Pixel 8 Pro has a matte back. I cannot decide between the iPhone 15 and Pixel 8.

While it is a decent phone, it still has all the same problems that google is notorious for. They still have a sub par processor and overheating issues owned it for like 4 days and went back to Oneplus 11. If Google is gonna charge 100$ more they need to do better

I had the iPhone 15 Plus and it was so slow. I used it for a week and felt like I really over paid for what the phone could offer. It went back to apple and I grabbed a P8 pro and I'm much happier and money back in my pocket to boot. Both 256GB models as well.

Honestly I don’t know, There’s just so many cool pixel features. There are the AI features & non-AI features which include: • Magic editor • Audio Eraser • Best take • Call screening • Automatically identifying songs playing nearby, no app needed • AI generated wallpapers ((😂) I had to use an application for that) • Video boost that’s coming soon. • The amazing & ludicrous seven years of OS updates. (🤯) • Hold for me for phone calls. • The improved Voice-to-text, not sure if that counts. (🤔) • I also love the animation transition from AOD to Lock screen & from Lock screen to “the unlocked screen”. • The lack of duplicate applications, this is a real deal (👀) (Well for me at least) • And let’s not forget 120hz is now on the base pixel 8 And there's this Live Captions feature which makes google assistant talk for you on phone calls & no I don’t mean call screening. So, it works like this, during a phone call you tap on the volume button then you toggle on live captions. After that you will see a keyboard icon on the live caption, tap on that & the google assistant will say whatever you type in, to the other person on your phone call. You can even change the voice - under settings > accessibility > live caption > voice for typed responses. Okay okay, so I think my favourite feature would be magic editor & that live caption feature for phone calls. Also I don’t own a Pixel 8, or any pixel phone. I’m just a huge fan of tech or a huge smartphone nerd & I just love learning more about smartphones. @manojtl28, As a pixel user, the only thing i don't like is the tendency of the phone to get heated like a furnace even with the slightest of tasks when using mobile data. The occasional bugs are also an issue. I really love the day 1 updates but they can get installed a bit faster 😉

I am having a problem with 2.4g wifi...Have you done a speed test using 2.4g wifi??? Pixel 8 is not compatible with 801.11 bgn 2.4g wifi, only with 801.11 ax 2.4g wifi...5g wifi there is no problems.... I am only getting 2mbps download speed with b/g/n enabled!!!! Sadly, my smarthome devices can't connect to ax only 2.4g wifi!!! So basically I am screwed....and public wifi is mostly 2.4g bgn!!!! I got a replacement for the pixel 8 and it's doing exactly the same thing!!!

Pixel 8 Battery not lasting more than 6 hrs sot in wifi most of the day. I am not sure how reviewers saying it has a decent battery performance. 6 hrs is the best it can do, on average 5 hrs sot on one day regular usage, using camera occasionally.

Pixel 8 amomg the 3. 7years os update, improved video quality though Iphone is best in zooming transition between lenses, the stabilisation is almost the same and the color and hdr can be better than the Iphone. Other features are better than the Iphone few are 120hz RR screen, better screen brightness , better design...and undefeated Google Assistant ..and many more. Awe, cheaper.😅

@jatin.gidwani I like how Google is giving a better value to the non pro version phone this year. The screen is pretty good with 2000 nits of peak brightness and 120 hz of refresh rate. And the software offerings have always been a point of differentiation for Pixel phones with some great and practical features this year (like summarising a web page).

@emmanntan I like that the pixel has haptics like the iphone, personally I liked the haptics on the iphone since it gives a unique user experience and im glad that you can get that experience while having a android phone. I also like the spigen cases! theyre pretty neat. also considering the pixel is a younger company than of the iphone and samsung. They make pretty good hardware like the camera, those pictures are very sharp! yu wont even notice that it came from a android and you would probably assume its from a iphone.

The 6.2" screen makes the phone the perfect form factor will also having an amazing 2000nit brightness to be able to view content comfortably outside. I've always liked their great IA camera, cool features and now with this 7 Years android updates, it really seems like one of the bests androids out there if you like me , cares about longetivity. @azizshafiq96 The features i like about the pixel 8 is the design and camera. The Samsung phones have retained the same design for the past few years and its starting to get stale. Though the iphone 15 has a better design built than iphone 14, its notch is relatively bigger than S23 and pixel 8. The rose colour of pixel 8 is the nicest amongst all the colours of the 3 phones, and the huge camera cutout at the back of pixel 8 shows more presence and identity. The pixel 8 camera quality for photos has an edge when compared against S23 and iphone 15.
