@@troyav if you're in India, I got it at 35000rs... That's like 450$ approx... Around 435 to be exact... It's an amazing phone for that price.. I have an iPhone 14 pro along with it, you just can't tell the difference...! In fact I love pixels camera more ..

@@RohanVohra-ek6fo I had the same doubt.. I could get both in my budget... I had the pixel 7 pro a while back that I sold to get the iPhone 14 pro but 14 pro barely felt like any value for being a 1 lac device..! So I decided rather buy 3 gadgets at the price of 1 phone.. So during sale I got an ipad, airpods and pixel 7 and still saved 30k that is around 400$...!! Like really does the 14 pro warrant that price? And to conclude between the pixel 7 and 8, I went to GSMArena and compared both the phones...! Therea barely any difference except the 120hrz display and few software tricks in camera... For that did I have to pay 30k on top? I thought not necessary..

I love pixel 7 slight rectangle design. Curve display stands out and it's good. Heating issue reduced after Android 14 update. I hate stubborn search bar at bottom and stupid date widget which can't be removed unless you install external launcher

Are cellular and Wi-Fi connections better on the Pixel 8? I definitely noticed a difference from the P6 to the P7 because I had all kinds of issues in that department on the P6. I live in an area where I'm a little farther away from the cell towers so I need a phone that will work well in those conditions.

Did you update the Pixel 7 to Android 14? Your Pixel 7 camera app looks like the old version in your review. Camera app should look like the one on the Pixel 8. Android 14 improved the battery life on my Pixel 7 and everything just seems snappier. As mentioned earlier, you should not have your Pixel 7 plugged in if you're running comparison tests.

I have a Pixel 3 (MINT) , 3a ($20 used market 6/10 quality but works for Photo backups and basics), Moto Edge + 2020 (Verizon Only , But I use with Tmobile and the reception is awful :( so I have to use my pixel as a Sim phone and hotspot my Edge+), Pixel 5 (snagged for $40 MINT) ------ I JUST committed and bought the Pixel 8 from the Google Store with the 300$ trade in option for the Pixel 5 simply because the 5 feels AMAZING but the battery is lackluster, but after Android 14 HONESTLY the battery improved like 30% which blew me away since it's not the most recent phone! (I had a pixel 6a for like1 month and HATED the battery, it sucked and never ever adapted to my usage, I'd get about 3hrs of usage, awful.) So I paid $450 but I'm getting the pixel 8 and the earbuds (I actually really really need some good earbuds, I'm almost more excited about this then the phone lol). I think it's a good deal since I haven't bought a new new phone since the iphone 11 which I sold AS SOON as i actually paid it off! I'm excited since I know Google Pixel phones are hit or miss, but this time they feel like a hit, just like the iPhone 15 (both my parents got the 15 and they're awesome little phones, but I'm too much of an android person to ever go back. I have an ipad pro but it just collects dust.) I'm excited for my phone to come in! I personally love Pixel photos even though I know they're not always the clearest, the 2020 Edge+ i have now has a 108mp camera and records at 6k and has 256gb storage and 12gbs of RAM, and a HUGE battery. But the smoothness I'd wish was there just isn't. I can't say I'll be on this phone all 7 years, but I'm excited for sure!

Pixel 7's rigid oled screen looked awful on slight angles. it would shift a red colour while also producing a visible rainbow line across the panel.

@@chancesareshewears thanks! i've heard this now from many people and i'm glad. unfortunately, i think i'm gonna withhold on purchasing any Pixels until they finally release a device with almost zero hardware problems i've heard about such as the processor running hot and blowing through battery, as well as bad 5g (though 5g is pretty unreliable by itself to be fair).

Since i got a pixel 6 i wont change to another brand. I love the "return" gesture which is sliding left from the right if the screen, its so frustating to use another android phone after that and even worst on iphone which is still using the "return" button on top left of the phone... The farther possible to the thumb, so dumb. Love pixel phones❤❤

Still doing the 2 finger speed test it is not accurate as one finger can always hit the screen faster that the other cause you brain thinks your 2 fingers are hitting the screen at same time
