I had a "play" with one of these in Store in the UK, yesterday. Glad I did. I was going to pre-order one as an "upgrade" to my Pixel 6a. I really didn't like the corners. They appear to "bulge" out, which doesn't do it for me. I'm planning on saving up for an 8, especially if they drop the price again!

Cons: - display flickering that can cause eye issues. you can watch it from another phone record 240fps slo-mo video pixel 8a display. - there's no good 5G modem & signal strength is so bad than other midranges. - fingerprint sensor still not working 100%, no ultra sonic fingerprint. - when you shooting a video phone gets heating quickly, also the video results are bad with noisy even with 4k30. - still using more than decade old gorilla glass 3 instead of scratch resistant gorilla glass victus. - autofocus doesn't work like other midranges. - battery life is also not improved much well than last year. - $500 other midrange phones have better efficiency chips than pixel 8a. - price is debating cuz u can get pixel 8 vanilla flagship for now $549. Pros: - face unlock is working good. - 2000nits brightness is good for sunny days.
