The majority of people never use the macro camera. The 2MP macro cameras are pointless. The 5MP macro cameras are definitely usable and sometimes quite good. But people call them pointless because of my first sentence. There are also such things as autofocusing ultrawides and floating telephotos that can take macro photos.

I use the macro camera a lot in my S24 Ultra. especially to take pictures of small text on devices when I need it.

I kind of want to give Google Pixel a chance. I'm tired of the bloated software of Samsung, and the exynos chips are mid at best. I currently own the Samsung A54. The battery is good and I like the cameras but that's about it. I just want to experience the good cameras and features of Google. I also want to be different. My mom and my bf both have Samsungs, and they love Samsungs. I wanna be different, lol.

@normanmahendra5341 Yeah, I read up on that. I heard the Pixel 9 series will have a different chip. I just want cleaner, faster, and better software experience. So I'm stuck between sticking to Samsungs UI or trying something different. Me being the weird person I am, I don't like trying new things cause it's either too different or I just end up not liking it. I don't like wasting money either or regretting purchases, so I'm kind of still indecisive..

I like the Samsung UI better but that phone is just too big. Even the 8a is too big for my preference. Imo iPhone SE is the best size but no side loading is a complete deal breaker for me

Samsung a55: Useless macro lens ( zooming in is better than macro lens), os gui practicality is awful compared to my previous xiaomi, also samsung is lagging behind with os upgrades (recently confirmed). Charging is rather slow with correct charger. No charger in box, had to buy it. Giving it back.

My Samsung Galaxy A55 died after 1 drop after 1 week. Needless to say, I wish I have bought Google Pixel. But to Samsung's defense - my friends have A55 and theirs survived drops. Maybe mine was deffective.
