Numbers are great, in battery and benchmarks, but software optimization is more important, and Nothing 2a show it in day to day use. I have always bought phones with great chipset, several poco f series, several oneplus, and this phone reminds me of the original oneplus one how snappy it is, and its battery usage is great too compared with other phones with same capacity in mAh.

Considering the pricing of these devices in India, can't compare with each other. Moto Edge 50 Fusion - ₹23K (~€250) Nothing Phone 2a - ₹24K (~€260) Samsung A55 - ₹43K (~€470) Pixel 8A - ₹53K (~€580) But I can't believe the Nothing Phone 2a's camera performance is on par with the Pixel 8a. Definitely some fanboys in the comments crying! I thought this was a great comparison! I watched in 4k on my TV and I agreed for the most part. Nothing phone for me wins considering its price point of 350usd that's a "midrange" price. Also something I noticed if you pause at 7:03 I noticed the nothing phone was the only one to capture the lines in the couch the others were just blurred together. Pixel 8A: Thiccccc bezels, bad network reception. Samsung A55: One ui with missing features (dex, goodlock). One UI may be good for some, but the rest of the UIs are clean and lighter. Uncomfortable in hand. Nothing 2A: Pretty good, except doesn't provide a charger in the box (just like Google and Samsung). Thicker and wider than others. Priced higher than moto just for slightly more powerful mediatek processor. Edge 50 Fusion: Very slow updates, but comes with a fast 68w charger itb. Great for the price.

@@diablotech385 We had a pixel 7, Sold it 2 months ago due to battery issues. Had to charge it like twice/day. Also owned the A53 which was replaced for a Redmi Note10 Pro in 2022. That phone was slow AF. I now use a Galaxy S23 fe and my bro has the vanilla S23. Both are awesome handsets with optical zoom lens, wireless charging and good battery life.

Currently ive been stuck deciding between the 8a and np 2a, the price difference isnt a lot (around 50 usd where i live) and the most important factors for me r the battery life, cameras and OS experience (the performance, features, overall aesthetic, smoothness, etc.) Im leaning a bit towards the pixel bcs of all the software features n stuff but after doing some research, im actually impressed by the nothing 2a. i also feel like ill appreciate the Nothing OS style a lot more rn as compared to when im older, but Im rlly not sure so if anyone who has used both could help out a bit i would rlly appreciate that :)

I have nothing phone 2 and 2a in my family, and not going to the ovwrall experience, Clean Software, Symmetrical bazel, Viewing experience. But both nothing phones have improved camera quality significantly from the day It was purchased. So not only camera, juding by its the overall experience its Nothing 2a. In India on sale both edge fusion & Nothing were priced same so its all the same for me. I got the nothing phone 256 GB for 20K and its really a good deal judging by the overall experiece & updates put forward by Nothing
